Police are so bold to tell you to get off the sidewalk just to start shit with you. Dude didn't do shit wrong in the first place, if he did... They would've detained & arrested him. You telling the police off, or telling them to kiss your ass doesn't mean they can arrest you.

Report says five Atlantic City police officers being investigated in alleged June beating

Five Atlantic City police officers are allegedly being investigated by the department’s Internal Affairs investigation unit and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office for an incident in June involving a 20-year-old male.

NBC10 released a surveillance video from a local casino that captured a June 15 incident in which David Connor Castellani, 20, was seen being assaulted by five Atlantic City police officers including a K9 officer and his dog who arrived after the initial altercation. The dog can be seen attacking Castellani as he is lying on the street in the video.

The video does not show any confrontation between Castellani and the officers before the incident. The NBC10 story says he was kicked out of the casino because he was underage.

The man’s father David Castellani, a Northfield-based attorney, declined an interview request when reached at his Linwood home Friday night.

The story states David Connor Castellani was charged with assault in the incident.

Police Chief Ernest Jubilee said in the NBC10 story that Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the incident. He could not be reached for comment Friday night

That assault on him looks like a false charge. But his dad being a lawyer will get him to not plead guilty to it.
I got arrested for sitting on the balcony of a Catholic church once. And they originally charged me with burglary. The lawyer came and said they dropped it down to trespassing. But all I did was sit down on the balcony, nothing else. And really I should not have pleaded guilty to trespassing. The church never said they did not want me on their property. After spending those 2 weeks in jail, when I went to court I should have pleaded not guilty and asked them to show me what I was really arrested for. But you live and learn. If you have not done anything wrong do not go pleading guilty until you talk to someone that knows law and are not trying to cover anything up.

You're lucky they dropped it to a misdemeanor. .they keep you locked up over bullshit then offer reduced charge with time served or probation and cats take pleas to get out. ....many times to a felony......that's the plan to disqualfy cats to any comfort
