Wow. Best GTA ever made!!!

The attention to detail...
The gameplay...
The fluidity...
The storyline...
The characters...
AND THE MUSIC!!!!!!

Seems Rockstar took the VERY BEST parts of lots of their old titles like Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne, every GTA, Midnight Club, and LA Noire... and rolled 'em into one hell of an adventure called GTA 5. :eek:

To me, this game has clearly SET THE BENCHMARK for the next generation consoles, imo. :yes:
Because that 'character switching' feature ALONE... has completely revolutionized gaming.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
(I ain't even do any online shit yet. :rolleyes:)

In short, this GTA 5 has done for videos games...
- what 'Star Wars' & 'The Matrix' did for Sci-Fi movies...
- or what 'The Godfather' did for Mob films...
- or what 'Scarface' did for the 'Drug Lord' genre...

This will be the VERY LAST videogame I buy for the PS3.
Because it won't get any better than this. :smh:
And I will probably buy it for the PS4 also, whenever it gets released.

Man, they put it all together in this one. I'm trying get my ass to bed but I can't lol. I can't wait to see how the online mode really works, they really seemed to set the standard there. They didn't half-ass anything with this game so far. Rockstar seems to have truly maxed out the current gen potential with this game and didn't hold back on making a great game.​
 
Just copped from Wal-Mart, was deader than a doorknob, everybody came at midnight so I was in and out when I went at 4.

The game installed in exactly 15 min which was enough time to knock back a bowl of cereal

I see everybody's going to the strip club :lol: I might as well go too

I damn near wanted to stand up and clap. As a person who considers himself a music guy, I couldn't have thought of a better "first song the player hears at the strip club" song than that in 100 years.


Three hours in and this game is beyond amazing!!



 
I decided to roll through Grove Street to check on the homies, :smh: that shit was ballas territory.

Lol :lol: pet shop boys were on soul train singing that song, but Sheena Easton sugar wall is something I want to hear in a stripclub
 
Have 360 had any problems with the "play" issue mentioned in this thread? Got another 8 hours until I can play it :(

Keep in mind...I went to bed around 3:30 this morning....I got up at 10 and I'm now playing....:smh: Yeah, mane. I was in my Charger at the light when all that shit went down. Shit was unbelievable. Batman Arkham Origins has to blow this game out the water to win G.O.T.Y.(Game of the Year). I had the Last of Us as game of the year, narrowly ahead of Bioshock Infinite. This shit here..? Blows past both games.
 
Some ped was screaming on the side walk about a woman being beaten by her boy friend. So I get out the car to go help & end up running into a setup. I layed those mexicans down to the ground. I start walk back to my car then some mexican stands up & starts talking spanish shit then pulls a gun out, I layed him down too then next thing I know they start coming out of know where & I get wasted. Fuckers was rolling deep.:hmm:

It's just a game to most of us so there's not really anything to be biased about lol. You just pick it up and play. If it's good it's good, if it's not it's not...to me, this game is incredible. If you like this genre of gaming, you'll love GTA V, if you don't like this genre then don't get it. If you wanted the next gen San Andreas and then some, then this is the game to get. With all they've delivered in this joint with more to come (Online play), I'm more than pleased. If you liked what you heard and saw before release to now, simply put, it's as good as advertised.​

I went to sleep at 4:00am got up at 9am to pick and and play before my boy wakes up. I'dunno if I've ever had to play a game like this.

I went to gamestop this morning... had like 30 people in line in front of me...I was in and out pretty quick. I guess most people went at midnight. That location had over 1000 preorders. The cashier lady had some serious attitude because she had to answer the phone every 2 minutes to tell people they were sold out.

Anyways this game is fuckin tight. The voice actors, the driving, just the hold vibe of the game is on point. Gonna be hard to top this for game of the year.

To those asking if this game is better then last of us or whatever game
It doesn't matter you need this game in your collection no matter what is worth $60

Even it was $100 I would have bought it , go buy it

But to answer your question this is the best gta game ever , I'm just waiting for the last of us to come down in price

ok, i love red dead redemption's free roam mode. how does this compare? ( i know the online isnt available yet, but how does the single player mode compare, can you explore the WHOLE MAP?)

Yes, the same as gta 3 , San Andreas , vice city , gta4

You do one mission in the beginning & then you do whatever you want , some guy will be calling u to do more missions but you can put the game in sleep mode

But to unlock the other 2 players you need to do more missions I think
 
Best game ever!!!!! Easily GOTY.... Sorry batman and watchdogs you didn't have a chance....

Dialogue is a beast... Smooth as fuck.... Music is great.....

If you live in California..... You really know how detailed the game is... Whenever I drive around and see shyt that's like :smh: so much detail...


Franklin and Lamar are very similar to Craig and smokey lol

This game is a must buy... Hands down.... Worth every penny.... Delivers and then some...... If online is all they say it is? Definitely game of the decade...

Crack!! I didn't wanna go to sleep....
