Breaking Bad *series finale 9/29/2013

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

bah.

walt is a cook. nothing more, nothing less.

walt didn't build shit, he supplied a product.

no distribution, no connects.

walt had to gather from others and that's his weakness.

that is the logic Walt used to justify his actions too... But that fucker turned into a murdering drug dealer. He was always cleaning up Jesses fuck ups.

i don't know that it's a justification. just an accurate estimation of walt's role.

the bodies piling up is just another example of how ill prepared he is for the game. a calculating murderer, no doubt, but a panicky bitch. inasmuch as fans like to see anti-hero walt as a mover and shaker, every season has at least 1 episode where we see walt in hysterics.

was he ill prepared or was he just willing to do anything to keep his ass out the fire????

both?

the options presented in the show are not the only options.

the best current example of the writers presenting a false dilemma is hank's current situation at the DEA. tissue paper thin reasoning to propel the story along with a false sense of jeopardy.

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

at the beginning Jesse was the key to the operation... Walt knew the chemistry but didnt know the streets and that is where Jesse came in. Walt needed Jesse but as the operation grew he should have offed Jesse. But in some strange way Walt has more of a father son connection with Jesse than he does with Fin aka Walter Jr. Remember Jr. looked up to uncle hank.
What "game" did Jesse know? Jesse almost got them both killed when he brought those 2 niggas back to rob him in episode 1 season 1. Jesse got jacked by Tuko and fucked up. It was Walt who got theim money back, plus pain and suffering money for Jesse. Jesse led Hank to the trailer, etc... In the end Jesse wans't needed. He was a negative to Walts whole operation.

walt is a cook. nothing more, nothing less.
Cook, cleaner, organizer, negotiator, hitter, finance man, launderer, textbook manipulator, fixer...

To call him just a cook is a terrible undersell. He has done everything in that operation and whenever they hit a black hole or deadend (which happens a few times ever season) Walt is the one who thinks or kills their way out of that situation. The ridiculous and impossible train heist alone should cement this guy as near criminal genius status.

walt wears many hats, that is undeniable. but the only hat he wears with any credibility and shown any competence for, is cook.

distribution, nada. his needs there have run from jesse's rag tag crew, to gustavo fring, to declan, to lydia (and a few others in between). without them, still just a cook.

need dirt done? jesse (again), mike, even newcomer todd (and family).

walt makes a superior product and his cook is unequalled. everything else, he needs (several) helping hands: saul, huell, et al as additional examples.

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

man stop smmfh

That didn't happen? He used his knowledge of where the meth heads hang out to find cheap and easy oral sex. When they question her about the blue meth, she looks at Hank and says "Wait I know you. You tried to get me to blow that kid." and Gomey looks at Hank with a WTF.

Not sure of any high level dope dealer who is hands on in all aspects. Well I do but they are all in jail.

Tucco came into play when they were trying to expand which was beyond Jesse's knowledge of the game. At the begging of their venture Jesse knew the streets and walt knew the chemistry.

Yes Jesse is a royal drug abusing fuck up but he still knew more about the distribution end that Walt did

:lol::lol::lol:

Looks like it went over his head.

Let me help him...

Hank took Walt Jr. out there to try to scare him straight b/c they thought Walt Jr. was smoking weed. He thought showing him the meth head whore would give him a glimpse of what life would be like if he kept messing w/ drugs. That's why he started off giving Walt Jr. the whole "weed is a gateway drug" spiel.

kind of my point.

walt isn't a high level dope dealer. he's a chemist who turned to crime and smells himself.

that's all.

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

Doakes!..

Hard to believe the two best shows on TV (Dexter and Breaking Bad) are going to be gone in a few weeks..

:lol:At Doakes.
:smh:Yeah it sucks knowing those 2 shows are almost done. Tv is gonna suck for me because the only show ill probably watching when it comes on is BOARDWALK EMPIRE. I havent watch a bunch of BGOL favorites such as homeland, son of anarchy, and others.

I forgot about the weed smoking. Damn. I stand corrected.

Fuck the real DEA anyway for never updating its website to reflect the actual scientific proof that marijuana has some medical uses.

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

I swear if it wasn't for Jessie Walt wouldn't have had any problems.. For instance if Jessie in season 3 never would have went after those 2 hood niggas that killed his girls lil brother Walt would be in the clear working with Gus. But because Jessie is so unpredictable Walt had to save him.. In all honesty Jessie has been Walts cancer since day 1. Walt should have been offed him in my opinion

if Walt had killed Jesse it would have destroyed the whole meaning of the show...

true because he would be a dying chemistry

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

When Walt went to the car wash to get the gun, was that code talk between him and Skylar, or does she not know about the gun and impending danger?

I thought it was funny

Or maybe is because I have never seen a tv show episode showing a guy trying to kill a fly for one hour

I love that episode.. Great writing. Its purpose was to show how meticulous Walt is as a chemist. It achieved that perfectly..
