Man of Steal was a drama and the sequel will be a drama also. They wanted a tall, dramatic actor, with a name for the role. It's that simple. Affleck can do drama so he'll be alright.

Is anyone really going to see this movie for the acting? If that's the case then they probably need to go and get Daniel Day Lewis to play Batman and have Meryl Streep play his love interest.

I never thought about Brolin. If I was him I wouldn't take the role on but he would've been a solid choice for me as well. Better than Affleck for me. Affleck isn't my first choice or hell probably wouldn't even be brought up but I just think its funny people writing him off like he's going to be asked to give a Oscar nominated performance.

Its been nearly 10 years sincey Daredevil. He's done better shit since that flick man....And Superman Returns and Green Lantern were trash because they had trash story's. Look at Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises. You could've put 50 Tyson in the lead role and the movie still would've been good. Nolan was why that shit worked.
