Breaking Bad *series finale 9/29/2013

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

Good points.

My problem with Jessie is just as it relates to this first episode. He fought hard as hell last season to get that money from Walt, and the last episode we see him in he gets it.

Now the first time seeing him after all of that he's just going out of his way to get rid of it.:angry:

I think had we not seen this side of Jessie already it wouldn't be that bad but I don't want to see Jessie's crisis of conscience story angle again for the last 8 episodes of this series.

But these are some great writers so I doubt thats where this is going.
Yeah. When he gets it he doesn't care about it. It's just money. That's life. We want something so bad and when we get it then what? It's really the journey to get something out of reach that had us wanting it.

They gotta do something with Jesse and this is it.

Yeah I get that.

Its just having watched this character have a crisis of conscience in past seasons makes this less impactful and even annoying. But again its only the first episode of the last 8 so I don't expect this to go on for the season, its obviously setting up some bigger event.

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

That's the whole point. Jessie is there to show the other side of the situation. Walt can justify everything he does as a necessary action. Jesse has a conscience. An innocent kid getting killed crushed him. People he cares about getting hurt kills him. To this point Walt hasn't suffered the way Jesse has. Jesse has been getting the shit end of the stick.

Money is just paper man. At the end of the day you have to be able to live with yourself.

Regardless how he feels about the kid, Walt has been manipulating Jesse almost from the very first episode
Jesse seems to be waking up to that fact. That last look said, "ain't shit you can say to me anymore"

I got a feeling the Ricin is for Jesse.

I don't think it is.

That scene with the Ricin takes place at least 6 months down the road from where the show is at in the first episode and I think one way or another the Jessie situation will be dealt with by then.

in real life yes.

on this show jessee gotta go. he's a LOOSE end.

but there were times when he tried to play rough and tough too so it's not like he's innocent in all of this. that's my problem.

if every step of the way he was just not down with any of it.. then ok.

but he was with the shit for most of it. some setbacks happened yes... and as far as walt goes, he hasn't suffered because he only cares about his family, including jessee...so long as they're good he's good

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

basically
he ain't have cameras inside of his house

ya I don't recall gus ever kneeling down in front of a toilet + puking in front of walt...I think that was just thrown in for kicks...then again that's what easter eggs are for...those who like to pay extremely close attention

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

I did notice that the woman in the beginning of last week's episode had oranges in her bag when she dropped it. I remarked to my girl that oranges is a motif from "The Godfather" that many people have used in the years afterwards foreshadowing an important character's death.

After reading that article......:smh::smh::smh:

In the link

Now, of course, Walt never actually saw Gus do his little towel trick before chucking his guts up. Therefore if there genuinely is something to the theory of Walt picking up traits of his victims, then it must be a nod from the writers, rather than a conscious decision by Walt.

I thought you wasn't coming back Leroy
