Whether it's taught or not, the letter was still written in English. Cursive still uses the same Alphabet, just connects the letters together in script. I dunno, guess I'm old/used to seeing it, I just can't comprehend how one couldn't read it.
She and this line of questioning are frustrating. Is this Trayvon's jump off ?

All things being considered, she is being incredibly consistent in her answers, even sometimes correcting him. The longer this lawyer goes on about this, the worse it makes the defense look like they grasping for straws.
he has somewhat impeached her credibility overall in pointing out the contradictions in her statements given during the ben crump interview and deposition. but nothing so far that might cast doubt on her specific testimony yesterday.
True and she's given (misguided but somewhat believable) reasons for those contradictions and info she left out. It sounds as if what she's been saying yesterday/today is no different than what she told the state.
It really depends on how you're looking at it. I said yesterday that she sounded credible when she was talking about the actual event (the part where he said "get off me") because she was getting emotional and I don't think she could fake that. ....but by going over things again and again, the defense has brought out inconsistencies. While he is annoying, he may not be totally ineffective if it makes even one juror question her story.

I think they had a emergency coaching session with her after her first day of testimony... but it hasn't helped a whole lot in her on the stand demeanor.
you must not have heard her yesterday when she thought she wouldn't have to come back to day to continue testifying.
If he doesn t have the transcript he is losing credibility.....
and the reason she can t read cursive is because with George Bush's no child left behind they don t standardize test cursive....so no funding can come from learning to read cursive.....

And risk a mistrial? Per the judge, she was technically still on the stand so that would've been a bad move

What type of dumb ass question is that?.. She's the last one to talk to the kid. She's the most important State witness, giving the most important testimony of this trial..
Doesn't matter, she needs to be on the stand. No other evidence really explains what led up to their physical encounter after the 911 call. More importantly, she's the ONLY voice for Trayvon
He keeps hanging on that one word "coulda" versus "couldn't" knowing damn well this broad is inarticulate, and could have very well been misquoted.
