Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

Yeah it was Summer and Shaggydog. I'm upset about Jon not realizing it was them.

but to fair, it all happened so quickly. jon may not realize until later when he thinks about it. after allas far as he knows, bran and rickon are dead. why would he, in a split second situation, immediately realize what was going on, when he had no real reason to?

If you're not trying to derail why'd you say it? :D And those kids are a totally different matter to me. I said in my other post. IT DIDN'T EFFECT ME. And neither did those others. I don't shed no tears for whites.

NOW. Does anyone feel that Jon recognized or should've recognized 2 big ass dire wolves and been like Oh... Hey.... that's odd? The only 2 direwolves up here? Summer? Shaggy?

I think he did recognize them. He gave a look like 'the fuck?'. I think he knew if he stayed and fought he would've lost and would've been killed. They probably would've searched the area and killed his brothers as they had no problems killing the innocent man for no reason. So killing them wouldn't even be a second thought. Leaving clearly got the wildlings out the area as they probably either chased after him or said fuck it and kept it moving because Jon snows brothers were chilln till night time.

Dirty muthafucka right here man....
His facial expression is classic...
No words needed..

Jon thinks Bran and Rick are dead - so if their dire wolves are running wild - its something to be expected since the wolves masters are dead

That boy bran is the real power player now.....he's just a kid with warg powers that no one has seen before. As with most things, when you hone and perfect your craft it becomes better, stronger, more consistent. At his age he already took control of a human being without even knowing what's really good and how to do it! That shit is CRAY!!

Can't nobody fuck with him cuz this Lil ninja can straight Jedi mind trick they ass into doing WHAT HE WANTS! Or even worse imagine him controlling one of the dragons!:eek::eek: man the possibilities are LIMITLESS with this lil professor x mufucca.

I want to read the books so bad, but it takes away from the TV viewing experience. Maybe I'll read some of the stuff on the wiki page (sack of winterfell, etc) so i can learn more about the back story....gotta really understand why roose Bolton did what he did, now i need to know why the bastard is REALLY torturing Theon, etc. but i REFUSE to get ahead of the TV show. This show is a visual and audible orgasm...not gonna mess that up....

I'd stay off the wiki pages if I were you because you will run into spoilers.

a non book reader will see this:

"Ill admit that she has her moments but 99% of the time,it has no impact whatsoever on the story.."

and think spoiler

I dont see how,unless they're fucking idiots

Ive always showed my displeasure how shitty Daenarys story line is on the show...:confused::confused:

Hell,I even mentioned how shitty her story line is in the books and that's about........

These people who bitch and complain about spoilers needs to shut the fuck up....If I really wanted to tell them spoilers I would and there wont be a dayum thing they could do about it....:hmm:

So, Walder wanted one of his daughters to marry the King (be a Queen of the North). That's the bottom line for him. Isn't that what he has now with Edmore and his cute daughter? He made sure they got to bed safely before the shit went down. Btw, how come she looks so fine and the others are just plain as shit?

Most of your questions will be answered next season.....

A couple pages back we had a discussion as to why some of us chose not to read the books until after the series is over. I present to the court exhibit A: THE LAST 10 MINUTES OF THE EPISODE :eek::eek::eek::eek:

I sat in utterly shock and completely silence, from the moment the song started playing until the end of the credits. I'm fucked up right now off watching a TV show. For shocking moments like this, I would gladly want nine months for the next season to start.

So, Walder wanted one of his daughters to marry the King (be a Queen of the North). That's the bottom line for him. Isn't that what he has now with Edmore and his cute daughter? Like many people been saying Robb deserves everything he got for reneging on his deal with Walder Frey, you just dont do that to someone like him.....

Even,Catelyn warned him about that shit, but he didnt listen to her..

Like this pictures says: He lost this war ,the day he married her

Robb was playing checkers, while the Freys was playing chess

This is easily the best season for Game of Thrones, they redeemed themselves, after having a shitty Season 2...

I dont see nothing topping the "Red Wedding" for awhile on TV.....:lol::lol::lol:

I got this above Spartacus.....easily...

This was made 7 months ago but nothing is revealed or spoiled that hasn't been portrayed on the show I haven't read the books and I clearly understood all of the references as they applied to plot points of the TV series.

I don't... does Jon think they're dead? I know he heard about ned. But i don't think he knows Winterfell has fallen. If i remmeber right they were over the wall at that point. He doesn't know anything that's going on there now. See i was thinking like, Dire Wolves are SUPER NOTICEABLE. Like you see it and you know what THAT monstrosity is. And i'm thinking he'd recognize them by coloration, and there's 2 of them. And you're in the North. So .. i don't know. I guess i'm hoping beyond.

Now THIS is a good idea... Ok.

And this episode left me with a lot of questions.

1. Who is running the North now, Tywin or Roose Bolton?
I highly doubt the surviving Northern lords would fall in line behind Bolton after seeing him betray Robb and butcher thousands of Northern troops for the Lannisters.

2. Are they even considering recasting or advance shooting for Brandon. I re-watched season one and two during the two week hiatus and Bran definitely grew up. Isn't he suppose to still be like 8 or 9 years old?

3. So this is the red wedding that people have been not so slick at coming in here and hinting at. I've ignored those comments all this time because I assumed that they were talking about Joffery's wedding. Red wedding = Red Castle. Guess not :(

4. What is Ayra's next play? This whole time she has been fighting to get back to Winterfell and her family. Arya is personally my favorite character on the show and I'm hoping she takes up the dude from last season offer and become a bad ass faceless man assassin. She is my last real hope of a Stark becoming a bad ass and RAINING DEATH ON EVERYONE that has crossed their family. I mean unless Rickon decides to become a bad ass next season

5. And speaking of raining death on people, I wonder what lady Brienne reaction is going to be when she finds out what happened to Cat. If Bolton knew he was going to bretray Robb and his mom like that, he minus whale have killed Brienne right then and there, because you know she'll be coming after you and your next.

6. It's been mentioned but seriously Jon, you don't recognize our brothers' dire wolves? I really hope they speak on that next episode.

7. I've never complained about them not showing a fight before. I know that certain action scenes just wouldn't be feasible for a TV show. But damn :pain: I really need to see the rest of that fight with Big Worm, long hair second son dude, and Jeor Mormont. They were putting in work, then they just cut to the end and all 3 dudes are back, covered in blood, and the battle is over. FUCK THAT NOISE .... I want to see that fight.

8. I just piece this together from re-watching the first two season, but did anyone in this thread ever piece together who Jeor Mormont's father was. Not sure how I missed it the first time, but when I discovered it over the weekend, I had the  face.

9. Speaking of things that they only spoke on for a moment on the show, are we ever going to openly discuss who has Theon? They mentioned the fuck out of it last season, and they've been dropping anvil sized clues all season. I'm right there with you guy on book readers not spoiling the show for the rest of us, but this shit doesn't apply. They said it on the show. They've dropped clues on the show. I won't be the first to mention it, but I'm just saying. With everything that happened at the end of ep 9, I REALLY have some questions about the motive of keeping Theon alive.

All I could think during the post-wedding massacre was thank God. I've always felt that the Starks were too stupid to live. Ned got outsmarted by Joffrey, of all people. And Robb lost the game of thrones a long time ago, he was just too dumb to know it. Like the old guy, better to go now quickly than drag it out.

Cat gave the greatest performance in a television scene that I can remember. The Starks will rise. This shit is not the end of them. They still have some strong ass chess pieces left on the board.

I hope Little Finger personally deals with the Freys. Rob was 100% wrong for what he did but it was beyond foul how dude set them up.

i mean it's easy to think that since you, the viewer has an overview of things. however, direwolves are not mystical rarities like dragons; it's not like the starks' direwolves are the only direwolves. you're right about them being over the wall before hearing news about bran and rickon's 'deaths', but wouldn't that make things more confusing in the moment, since as far as he knows, bran & co are way back in winterfell. i dunno, maybe in the next ep he reflects on it and realizes that it was a stark direwolf, or maybe he just chalks it up to a wolf that looked just like his brother's own.

Random, possibly depressing question: did Walder Frey realize Talisa was pregnant? You had all that gross talk in the beginning about what's under a dress, but I originally dismissed it as an old man ogling a pretty young woman.

But when the knife went for the gut rather than her throat...yeah, I'm thinking he somehow figured it out? If not at the beginning, then when he saw Robb get all tender putting his hands on her stomach.

Brutal.

1. As long as there are surviving starks, they are the heir to winterfell. Since sansa is the only remaining stark everyone knows about, tywin technically is in control (i say technically, cuz tyrion hasn't planted a seed in her as yet). you didn't think tywin bullied his son into marriage just to let bolton take control did you?

2. Dunno about that, but you're right, the actor is growing up too fast for his character to keep up.

4. well, i don't see what else she can do, other than stick with clegane for now.

5. :dunno: Who knows? besides haven't you learn your lesson about this show that people aren't invincible and the road for vengence isn't as straightforward a in other fiction?

8. Yea it was discussed.

9. The only reason why we're even seeing what happening to theon now, is because the actor is a fan favourite. Theon gets abducted near the end of book 2 and we don't hear anymore about him till book 5. Which i probably why the show's writers have made his scenes so sparse.

Oh, and this reminds me .... point 10

10. I never thought this show could produce someone I hated as much as I already hate Joffery, but Bolton and Frey :furious: They've just been added to the list of "If I see the actors that play them on tv, walking the street, I'm fucking em up. No questions asked, no fucks given. I see them .... I'm going HAM."

Come on now. Joffrey didn't outsmart anyone. Ned played himself. Cersei TOLD him what the deal was, and Ned still tried to take the safe honorable route. Renly TOLD him what the stakes where and Ned still didn't listen. Joffrey's sick ass just decided to execute him at the last moment or Ned would have taken the Black.

Question:

In the beginning of the episode,

When Robb asked his Mother to help him plan the rest of the war...

the map had sigils of all the warring families like a chess board.

I noticed a piece with a man crucified upside down on a X...

does this have ANYTHING to do with Theon????

i'm bout to download season one to my bosses ipad just so i can have somebody at work to talk to about this shit

this muhfuckas so lame. i don't watch love and hip hop.

This^ The one person i could talk to at work missed it last night and I did not want to spoil it its like Blue Balls for your Brain
