A group of Black and immigrant Greeks have banded together to form a self-defense group to counter the attacks of a gang that targets citizens of color in the country. Nicknamed the “Black Panthers,” the group uses cell phones, social media, and neighborhood patrols to record any activity perceived as a threat from the far-right neo-Nazi Golden Dawn Party.

Regarding the massive economic crisis in Greece, the Golden Dawn Party has risen in power and blame immigrants for the high unemployment and crime. According to reports, more than 150 hate-fueled attacks occurred over the past year alone. Michael Chege (pictured), a 28-year-old of Kenyan descent, told Britain’s Channel 4 that he and his Black Panthers are taking on the Golden Dawn faction without fear.

“You cannot be living your life in fear because of some stupid neo-Nazi group,” said Chege to Channel 4 reporter Jamal Osman. “In WW2, they were crushed. In WW3, we will exterminate them out of the face of the earth.”

Chege added, “And me personally? I am a member of the Black Panthers and everybody knows that. And I am giving them [Golden Dawn] a straight warning – don’t mess with Black people, anyhow.”

Chege said he has warred with the Golden Dawn 10 times in a “kill or be killed” battle in his words. Osman asked if the encounters with the gangs are random, to which he replied, “They mostly target Black people.”

Even more shocking? According to Chege, the police do not intervene in hate crimes because they secretly support Golden Dawn.

Channel 4 also showed that immigrants are seized and searched far more than native Greeks — even when Greeks are seen openly using drugs.

Native Greeks feel that the 3 million immigrants who land in Greece on their way to the richer countries in Greater Europe are sucking the country dry. One Golden Dawn supporter said he’d turn the immigrants “into soap” before insultingly saying the soap would give him a rash. The same man even threatened to make lamps of their skin shortly after.

However, Chege welcomes the challenge of stopping Golden Dawn in their tracks.

“They want to try what Hitler did, let them try it,” said a defiant Chege, a trained martial artist. “They will have the same fate and even worse.”

wherever there is poverty and people need a scapegoat this will happen, many of them feel that Greece is a small country which simply cannot absorb illegal immigrants

... but they need to focus their enegery on getting those bankers that ripped them off though

On a similar note, do you really think that this model is far from been executed in this country if the economy collapse?

Do you not realize they're being run out of Africa as a result of conditions caused by centuries of colonialism? You're talking like those natural resources in Africa aren't already being stolen/horded by multinational cartels like DeBeers and BP. If they're leaving Africa, it's not because of a brain drain. They're leaving to find resources elsewhere to help their family left back there. They know they may not be welcome elsewhere, but they've also experienced not being welcomed at home, too. At least elsewhere they have a better shot at attaining an education or income to help themselves move up (or if necessary out).

Sure, but since my family has taken root here for 300 years plus and helped build this country, I want paid transportation for them and housing with jobs, plus reparations. I won't be greedy just two people's wages working free for day labor for twenty years with interest. Thank you.

Their economy sucks because they rely solely on a primitive capitalistic economic system to allocate resources. Their welfare system just cuts checks for people that are unable to find a job without requiring any work. They also let some American stooge to be their president. Maybe they should go back to hunting and gathering food in the forest.

Nobody is harassing whites in Africa utilizing organized gangs, and if they did, they get sanctions imposed on them. The Greeks are not complaining when they sell their products in these immigrant countries. Greek immigrants are all over the world in other countries without being harassed.

These immigrants need to call their home country and have sanctions imposed if it gets out of hand.

They do the same thing in this country, except it is more covert.

1. You get put under illegal surveillance to block your activities and use the information for harassment. They can backdoor remotely and monitor what you do on your computer. Steal intellectual property, trade secrets, and other things from you to prevent you from capitalizing on the project.

2. Intentional staged car crashes.

3. Taking a particular color car and timing them to go by at an intersection that you use to get on a main street (psychological) daily. To me it is a sign of mental illness and depravity.

4. Terminated, unemployed, and hire for low wages, Terminated, unemployed, and hire for low wages, Terminated, unemployed, and hire for low wages; multiple times to create distress and ruin your credit and finances. They don't want you to starve, but, disrupt your life purposely. They also don't want to make it obvious that you are being blacklisted.

5. Attempts to discredit you in the public.

It is all designed to avoid detection and give the police a plausible reason not to investigate, many times they agree with the tactics that are being used. Many of the people that participate (even black) are looking for suck up points with the corporations that can be used for career advancement.
