it comes down to this.

both teams are physical tough defensive teams. if both teams are allowed to play that way cool.

if one team is allowed to and the other gets called for breathing on the other its going to be a LONG night for one team.

if they just let everything go its gonna get out of hand.

imo it speaks volumes that everyone ALREADY knows that miami will get the calls tonight (supposedly) and that there is no way lebron can foul out. for a fact before he even suits up to play lol.

Game 6 in Boston he went for 45 to set up game 7 in Miami

Yeah other than the players you mentioned not many other folk. Who's left? Danny Green, Tyler, Lawson, and Felton.

I think Ed Davis with a good coach where he can get some more playing time will be ok.

make the same calls in the 1st that you do in the 4th

the players are good enough neither team needs help
 
Interesting what will Miami do tonight? The Heat strength works against them vs Pacers. They overcommit to double teaming and helping on defense which leaves Pacer big men alone to offensive rebound. They lost this game last year to Boston too... We shall see

Me too. The pacers have only made minor adjustments but the heat seems to have to adjust more. Wonder if they will go back to lb in the post? They went away from it in game 4.

I've been trying to firgure out why it take this type of situation for coaches to adjust. What's wrong with in game adjustments.

Miami losing the post battle, rebounding battle, cant slow Hibbert and West down(Lebron can).
What's the problem with a zone defense, test the discipline of their players and coaches.
Stop being fucking cute Spo, coach your fucking team....

miami and san antonio BOTH play 'zone' defense... they just do a good job disguising it.

challenge to you tonight: when hibbert gets the ball, watch how many heat players are within arm's distance of him when he shoots. watch chalmers, wade, and battier leave their men, NOT COMMIT TO THE DOUBLE TEAM, and harass the pacers big men.

translation: COLLAPSE ALL YOUR PLAYERS IN THE LANE TO SHUT DOWN THE POST GAME... WE AIN'T CALLING SHIT.

note: the refs have called 1 illegal defense in the heat vs pacers series... ain't called another one since then. if you don't call defensive 3 seconds, the post game is nullified... and that's why the 'big man' in the nba is a position of the past.

collapse on hibbert and david west & company go berserk on the boards.

Miami's offense looks like shit smh. You can tell Miami's offense is shitty when Lebron starts taking a bunch of threes. This is not a good luck for Miami because they still haven't figured out a way to get their shooters good looks. They need to run the offense from the post with Lebron...inside out.

Last game the commentors said something about Spo, have the first 8 or so minutes scripted, and he follows that routine every game. Well it sho the fuck is showing against these Pacers. Sam young in the game and you ain't attacking him.
 
It's pretty sad that Lebron and Wa seem to be terrified of attacking Hibbert in the paint...but Chalmers isn't.
