And THAT'S the problem up here in the NY metro area, Hofstra is only about 15-20 miles from NYC, but it seems like ALL of the cops here, whether they're NYPD, Nassau PD, or even Suffolk PD have watched too many cop movies, officers are supposedly trained to fire 4 times, re-access, and then fire again if necessary, but not only do the cops here seem to fire until they empty their guns, in this situation a cop fired on a hostage WHICH IS AN ABSOLUTE NO-NO in the police handbook!

R.I.P. to this young lady, a family should NEVER have to bury a child, especially as a result of this situation, I doubt if the cop will go on trial, but he will hopefully & most likely lose his job.
