Cellphone footage shows Monai Willet of Orlando, Florida, arguing with and slapping a man who then chokes her and throws her to the ground, knocking out 7 teeth and giving her a hairline fracture. And police did not arrest the man.

The video, uploaded to YouTube, shows Orlando 26-year-old Monai Willet arguing with an unidentified person outside the restaurant.

A man, who the University of Central Florida student says she recognized but does not know, corners her and orders her to calm down.

She slaps him. He then puts his hands around her neck and squeezes her until she passes out.

Monai Willet was left unconcious by the man. "If I would have fell any other way I could have died," she says.

Onlookers scream and beg him to release her from his grip.

But one man thinks it's all a big joke, and appears in front of the cellphone to laughingly say: "This s--t is wild."

The attacker then throws her, face first, onto the sidewalk.

Monai Willet lost 7 teeth in the incident.

She lies on the floor for several seconds. Once she has regained consciousness, she hauls herself up away from the blood-stained ground.

Orlando police did not initially arrest the man.

But officers say they are now re-examining the case after the footage was broadcast on local TV station WFTV.

Willett, who suffered a hairline fracture and lost seven teeth in the incident, said she now wants "justice."

Speaking to WFTV, she admitted she was wrong to hit the man, but added: "If I would have fell any other way I could have died."
