BGOL'S pro N WORD brigade will be outraged and of course majority of members with self hate/slave mentality will endorse this like they always do with albums from Jay Z, NAS and other prominent African American artists who are more than happy to call themselves demeaning names...

Ohhh expect BGOL's WHITE BRIGADE who will also endorse this stupidity from both black artists as well as Tarantino

I don't have a problem with anyone saying niggga or any other racial slur as long as it's in the proper context.

If you are black you are part of the doom for our race, where is your pride?

your thinking is a prime example of black people who are always worried about the wrong damn thing. :smh:

whats really fucked up is....if you watch the video, you'll see that he makes an argument against the current day prison system of slavery that most black people should be making and fighting against but we're too fucking stupid to stand up for ourselves and fight against it...or even fucking speak out about it. but we're upset that he said "nigga". :hmm:

unfuckingbelievable. always worried about the wrong fucking thing.

You know what...you actually make sense.

How so? Maybe many of us feel that way because usually the people who use the word ****** are the ones quickest to oppress us. How many times are we at our jobs/schools and there's that white guy who thinks using the word ****** is okay because you are "bro's" - only to find that cracka willing to stab you in the back because to him, at least, you really just are a ******?

Of course we know context matters, the problem is all those white people that take his lead and begin running with the word openly. I get tired of walking by white boys in the street and they are calling each other "nigga" and act like I'm not even standing there. :smh::smh::smh:

*And before someone says some shit I get mad at black folks that use that word openly as well. But white folks think the word is no big deal now, so we should take their lead.

His argument about modern day slavery (which I've heard him say in at least 3 interviews) is a way to cover his liberal use of the word ******.

"Hey Nigg3rs, I get you, I understand your plight! See Nigg3rs??"

dray i'll be honest man...i don't give 2 fucks about white boys calling each other nigga. straight up. dont care. if it was up to me every one would use the word as a term of endearment the way we do.

i've always thought it was pretty fucking stupid to try to chain a word, especially the word "nigga" to the black community. that's insane. i'm always amazed that black folks get up in arms about other people using the word they way they want to. thats how words evolve.

people are simply lazy nowadays. they are too lazy to make a cohesive argument so they settle for talking points on a subject without thinking of broader picture. thats where we are as a community when it comes to the word "nigga/er". we're so traumatized by the word that instead of realizing that the word is taking on new life outside of our community...instead of letting that happen, we're fighting to keep the word recognized as something that refers to us! how fucking stupid is that? let the word go. that doesn't mean forget where the word comes from or to disregard when its used against you in a negative manner. but for fucks sake, we have to become more adept at paying attention to context because it does matter. context is important. and for us to continue to ignore context because we feel some silly ownership of the word keeps us bound to its negativity instead of embracing its freedom which benefits us greatly.

we have to get past our pain to see what is really there, other than only what we perceive.

He can use the N-word as much as he likes. It doesn't represent me or any other self-respecting black person.

Don't let these cacs degrade us to their level of acceptance... Know and respect yourself.

you're joking right? you dont really think that this dude would go through the trouble of bringing up modern day slavery just so he can say nigg-er....do you??? you know this isnt tarantino's 1st go around with the word, right? that just totally wouldn't make any sense.

 you're fucking with me, right?

I know it's not his first time, I've seen all the dudes movies and for years he loves to say he grew up around black people and he gets us. REALLY??

Tarantino is just too comfortable saying the word. How come he's not equally comfortable publicly saying kike, or wop, or spic. Because he's knows members of those ethnic groups will get right in his ass. But too many of us are willing to give this ofay piece of shit a pass. Where the fuck has our pride gone? :smh:

I'm not trying to chain it to us. I call white people, frogs, dogs and fish nigga (privately). But I rarely use it out loud in public. My issue is the respect factor, NOT everyone uses that word. I'v seen black civil rights era black folks that find that word very offensive and it's disrespectful to see a black person and assume that they are cool with that word used around them no matter the context.

Same way I hate black folks saying to me "what up nigga?" I don't like white folks doing the same thing with me.

thank you!

I don't think white folks should get away with just using it casually in public. Even though we have made society feel that its ok to do so with our music, comedy and casual talk as well.
I think they should still be uncomfortable saying it.
I ain't gonna jump up and break nobody's jaw over it though.

You and the rest of these simple simon ass niggaz

give the Tarantino and the so called "N-word" way to much power.

Same way I hate black folks saying to me "what up nigga?" I don't like white folks doing the same thing with me.

i happen to agree with you. many of us need to learn how and when to use many words..especially that one. but we cant be so lazy as a people that we would rather enforce a restriction on the word so that we never have to analyze the context during the times that it is used. we can just say "he/she's racist! they know better than to say the word! bet he doesn't say kike or spic like that!"...instead of giving true analysis of the context and dealing with that conversation, whatever it turns out to be. but we dont even want to discuss it. and thats a recipe for chaining the negative aspect of the word to us. ignoring these discussions by labeling the person as racist is no different than jewish people who quickly label you anti-semitic for questioning or criticizing jewish people or the country of israel. no different.

 i dig where these cats are coming from so i wont call them simple, but they're definitely giving the word waaaaay too much power and they've become so sensitive to it that even when its used as a tool for positive confrontation, its still seen as offensive and racist. (see the chevy chase thread. dudes jumping to fucked up conclusions everywhere..totally disregarding why he said what he said. :smh:)

the shit we should we be really be pissed about... we just ignore. no one in this thread wants to address what tarantino was talking about in the video. they just want to be mad because he used the word nigg-er in a movie about slaves. jeezus fucking christ.

we can't see the forest for all those muthafuckin trees. :smh:

I guess Italians who get mad when a non-Italian says "wop", or a Jew who gets angry when a non-Jew says "kike", or a Puerto Rican who is ready to fight when someone who is not says "spic" are just people who "can't see the forest for all those muthafuckin trees".

But we can so we shouldn't get upset when when we're called nigga by someone of another race. Members of a race that do not respect themselves should not be surprised when other races have no respect for you either. :hmm:

So what !!!!!!

Clarence Thomas uses it in chambers

The DA uses it before he heads off to court to hold sway over the future of hundreds of black folks.

Congressman use it when it comes to funding social programs

Police use it in roll call before patrolling black neighborhoods

Teachers use it will eating breakfast before going to work at a predominately black school.

SO really who gives a fuck when a director uses it..How much influence does he hold over your life in comparrison to the others who use it ?

If you are black you are part of the doom for our race, where is your pride?

Lol nigga please. It's bigger shit you need to be worried about.

The prison system
Job inequality
Black on black violence in Chicago

How about you do something about that shit instead of coming on a porn board worrying about white people saying nigga.

Real talk a white person don't have to call you a nigga to treat you like one.

im so tired of this bullshit

the word nigga aint whats killing teens in chicago

its pretty simple people dont use the word if you dont want others using it.

No its not "OUR" word did black people buy the fucking N-word or something cause i sure as hell didnt get the memo. Im tired of all the excuse i think black folks just like other racist shouldnt use the word period.

And what does getting upset get you ?

that and 5 dollars will get you a cup of starbucks.

does it make you accomplish more

does it make you work harder cause you gonna prove all the haters wrong

mofokrs spend so much time worrying about people of no consquence.

so you mad, did it stop 40% of the people going to see his movies from being black ?

if you see him will you walk up and punch him in the mouth ?

get mad ? scratch your ass and get glad ..all that wasted time and emotion for what ?

Can you mofokrs stop acting like blacks ain't dying nowhere but Chicago.

I mean my damn...:lol::lol::lol::lol:

The thing is, there just aren't a lot of proper contexts for that word.

True.

My whole thing with the word is that it's like putting a band aid on a buck 50. Stopping people from saying nigga ain't gonna stop racism.

Folks will come up with a new word and do the same racist shit.

Tarantino does have a weird fascination with the word, and he is VERY misinformed with his usage. I'll say that. Somebody need to sit his ass down and school him.

But he ain't racist at all. Just dumb as shit.

Niggas need to be worried about the people that will deny you from getting a mortgage. You won't ever here them say nigga.

:hmm:

you have no idea how ironic your post is in regards to "forest for the trees". tarantino didnt call you a nigga. or a nigg-er. he wrote a screenplay about a slave during slavery that uses the word. thats all he did. its not a conspiracy to piss you off or disrespect you. but you cant see that because the only thing that matters to you is that he's white and he had the audacity to use the word.

so in essence, nothing you referenced about using the word "spic" or "kike" has anything to do with what we're talking about. not one damn thing. especially when its not unusual to hear the word "cracka", "wop", "spic", "dyke", "faggot", "chink" or a bunch of other words get used in movies and tv shows all the time. allllllllll the time. issac hayes called white kids "crackas" for years on television. did you watch the sopranos?? did you hear how they referred to anyone that wasn't italian? lets just say that it wasn't nice.

lets stop acting like no one ever uses racial terms in movies or tv unless its the word nigga. its a fucking fallacy. it happens all the time.

again...another example of black people being worried about the wrong gotdamn thing. :hmm:

all i do now is shake my head, protect my neck, and come on here and express my opinions from time to time...

other than that i'm a one man army, not giving back shit, not preaching or teaching shit...fuck em all.

it's 2013 and the media is still baiting our slave-minded-coon asses with articles of a white man saying the "N" word...and we fall for it every time.

there is no hope for us, you all can keep on with the speeches and feel good quotes n shit...it's a wrap for us. seriously.
