Avery Johnson fired.....

Man, I notice you haven't said shit about the coaching schemes...the reasons he got ran outta Dallas...:smh:

The reason D.Will is talked about is because he's the one who ran to management for a change, man stop.

No you stop...I have talked about Avery Johnson in other threads and most Nets fans saw this coming so there is no surprise here...what is surprising and what the fuck I'm choosing to say shit about is the cheap shots Mavs fans are taking @ Deron cuz y'all still feel some kinda way...you stop nigga...if y'all crying ass niggas had got your way and Deron was on the Mavs most of y'all wouldn't give two fucks about this conversation gtfoh...you and dtownssaltiest got like 25 posts combined in here mostly taking cheap shots about Deron + the Nets...see thru ass niggas

you paragraph writing mad?? We gone talk shit about Avery & we gone talk shit about Deron, get over it. Niggas in Dallas aint worried bout him, we'd have maybe 2-3 more wins with his ass on the team. We good

You can talk all y'all want if it help you mask the pain...y'all niggas was practically praying that Deron came to your team...no shame in that...but y'all shouldn't still be hurt

Who minutes & shots does Brooks take? You have damn near $200M tied into D.Will, J. Johnson, & Wallace...they have a crowded backcourt. That trade for JJ was stupid & stunted the growth of Brooks.

He has issues with young guards, see Devin Harris. But you don't get rid of the guy who's been coach of month 2 out of 3 months...

Stack at the 3, what purpose does that serve? Dude still the 4th option...what good does that do?

Here's the problem with that, Avery's way is to make the big the number option in the post. That's winning basketball.

Dirk didn't like playing on the block & Kidd hated the constant play calling, the shit that confused Harris. Avery had bent over to please D.Will, but now that Lopez is back healthy...the team was changing. Add in Joe Johnson ball killing ass, D.Will had to adapt & he refused.

This team is built flawed.

Stack relieves Wallace, right? He isn't really part of the guard rotation is he? I would think he'd take away from Watson minutes before Stack.

True, but you cant let a potential 20ppg Center be an afterthought. Hell your Heat didn't lose a game once Bosh returned to the starting lineup in the Finals...you still need a dominating big to win it all.

Joe Johnson must didn't wanna play any 3. That's the only way Brooks see any minutes. That or you cut down Watson minutes, but maybe he played him so much to let D. Will play off the ball???

:smh:

that bullshit, but Avery is annoying in conveying his message. Shits easy to tune out. I'm not a big fan of Carlisle his rotations suck he hates young players, but he got us a chip...he's a great coach for a veteran team.

Agreed, that's why I say JJ must don't wanna play the 3 or Avery was just bowing down to make he & D.WIll happy. Bringing in Joe fucked up any future Brooks had with that team.

I think we know why Cuban didn't go to that meeting...

:smh:

So he can turn they ass down

Dude is proving he's worth the deal & if he continues to develop that poison pill won't be so hard to swallow in a few years. I wish my Mavs woulda signed him.

:lol::lol::lol:

Thanks for saving my Mavs the headache Deron

:smh:

Everybody want Phil

11 posts in this thread, 2 about Williams...yet I'm salty he didn't come to Dallas :smh:

Re: Avery Johnson FIRED!!

I'm done.

He speaking for himself of that one

Fuck that nigga DWill

Only reason I wanted him is because we ruined our team to get him and at least that would have gave it some sort of justification

But I was never FOR star chasing when we could never land stars before and never will

When DWill didn't come I wasn't mad at him nor hurt just pissed off at our front office

The shitty ass draft didn't make it any better

i hope the wizards fire whoever the hell is coaching that dreadful team at the moment, and go get Avery. Give dude full control & time to do his thing. Let him gut the current roster & get some defensive-minded players. But it will never happen :(

Grand Opening...
Mark my words: Proko is going to offers over $100M to Phil.

Grand Closing

Phil Jackson has no interest in coaching the Brooklyn Nets.

"Phil has no interest in the Nets job at this time," Jackson's agent, Todd Musburger, said via text.

The Nets fired Avery Johnson Thursday morning.

Jackson is reportedly interested in a management position similar to that of Pat Riley's in Miami, where he could shape the front office and roster.

MT @ChrisMannixSI: In an email to Sports Illustrated, Stan Van Gundy says he has "no interest at all" in the Nets' head coaching job

And another one...

Welp, Brooklyn get ready for Larry Brown...

Coaches are lining up to proclaim their disinterest in a job... This is what happens when a team's star is a habitual coach killer. I've lived through this with the Marbury situation and its eerie how its playing out again.

Larry Brown, Nate McMillan, Mike Brown? Surprisingly 'Antoni would have been a better fit for the Nets.

2 coaches saying they're not interested is equivalent to coaches lining up to turn down the job bcuz of D Will...you guys are fuckin hilarious

When's the last time you seen coaches proclaim their disinterest in a job not even hours after a firing?

Don't worry I'll wait...

I swear y'all are some dumb niggas...asking an irrelevant question doesn't support your premise...there can be multiple reasons why these 2 coaches allegedly expressed disinterest if they in fact even did so...dumb ass niggas man...as if asking that question proves that D Will is the reason why they may or may not be interested in the job...fuckin hilarious  explain how 2 coaches allegedly not being interested in the job proves that D Will is the reason why they MAY have expressed their disinterest? Dumb shit

Nigga fuck your team  I'm getting my BDR trolling on!

We'll be aight.. The next three games are winnable before we hit the rough stretch.

We still got to gel.

I knew Phil wouldn't come

He knows that's not a championship roster and that's the only type of roster he will coach

That being said he loves money and I'll be interested to see if the nets offer him a deal he can't resist

He wants that Godfather deal: President of Operations, Brian Shaw as Head Coach, final say with roster decisions, ownership interest, and $20 mil a season.

That's the alleged deal he offered to Orlando

Word here is the article:http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/phil-jackson-submits-new-proposal-to-run-orlando-magic-060612

Representatives for Phil Jackson submitted a new proposal to the Orlando Magic on Tuesday for the 11-time NBA championship-winning coach to run the team, according to a Sports Illustrated report.

Phil Jackson and Red Auerbach top our list of the 10 best coaches in NBA history.
It was reported last week that Jackson had decided against pursuing a role with the coachless team's front office. But according to a Sports Illustrated report early Wednesday, which cited sources, the discussions are still alive with the former Lakers and Bulls coach.

The latest version of the proposal reportedly has Pacers assistant and ex-Lakers assistant Brian Shaw as the coach of the team, with former Bulls star Scottie Pippen the lead assistant.

Former Bulls player Sam Vincent, who is leading the push, would occupy a front-office role, while Jackson would work remotely — likely from Los Angeles — for all but one week of each month.

One source said Jackson was also seeking a minority ownership stake in the Magic.

However, Jackson's longtime agents Todd and Brian Musburger said the Magic had never made contact with them about the 11-time NBA championship-winning coach, while an NBA.com source said the team was not interested in hiring him.

Goddamn. Does he want a blow job from the owner's wife as well?

I'm not mad at him though.

Fuck you, pay me.
