His numbers didn't fall until ge became a bench player

I don't see him as a player who will stop playing hard once he gets a fat contract.

I'm hoping he doesn't stop playing hard. I enjoy watching him ball. Plus Dallas deserves some good after all that has went down with that organization.

Yes. And it was spot on for the players you mentioned. Mayo is more efficient than Monte (but who isnt), and a better scorer than Mo, but unlike JET he has not proven that he can play a particular role within a winning scheme and team environment (ask Tony Allen). Someone has to get the shots on every team. Until Dirk gets right, hes that guy. I dont think what hes doing is impressive.

True. But the distinction is that even on a team with two certified studs Harden was both effective, efficient, and worked seamlessly in a team effort on a winning organization. He was a great scorer, very good shooter, good defender, very good passer, and good facilitator. His skillset is far superior than Mayo. He brings so much more to the table than just empty point stats.
