Republicans/ Conservatives/ Libertarians Have Been Shut Down Again!

Oh, because of Akin's comments?

:lol::lol::lol:

Seriously, thought, do you have a life outside of this shit?

I don't. None of us do because we're talking about the people who's decisions will affect our lives, in the micro and the macro.
Akin is a joke but it's a fact that Romney and Ryan have expressed the exact same views on abortion in case of rape.

so it's time to link every republican right?

How about linking every democrat to Joe Biden?

I like Joe Biden. He said nothing that offends me. The religious fundamentalism taking over the Republican party, along with the money grab for the rich looks like a strategy to rob the people then hand out bibles like Jesus is going to fix it for you. Folks forget Jesus watched millions of Jews get burned in ovens so he probably won't be saving you either.

Biden might say "dumb" or inappropriate things, but he doesn't say caveman-level crazy shit.

Gop fucks want small govt but wanna tell women what to do with their bodies from birth control thru pregnancy &/or abortion.

Man, the GOP and their media machine already link every negative thing they can to Obama so what's going to change?

I didn't link Akin to Romney though. I noted they share the same philosophy. Either show I'm wrong or just leave it alone.

The irony of the whole thing is Republicans ALL complain about "lazy" people getting welfare and they don't want their tax dollars going to that. At the same time they are trying to stop abortions, thus increasing the welfare roles.

On a radio show this am, the host asked a pro, life guy: "what would you do if your daughter was raped & impregnated by the worst guy you can imagine?"

In one breath, dude said, "first, I'd KILL the guy. Then I'd make sure my daughter had the baby and gave it up for adoption bc all life is a gift from god & should be valued."

The host said, "definition of of hypocrite, live on the radio."

. . . and you don't even have to make this shit up !!!

Oh, that's nothing. A while back, on 60 Minutes, an Evangelical Pastier was interviewed. He was totally against stem cell medicine. Saying it was playing god. Later on in the interview it was revealed that he had a child that was extremely sick and was about to received stem cells as an experimental procedure. The interviewer asked him if he didn't see the hypocrisy in that. He said yes, but he would do anything to save his child.

. . . and you don't even have to make this shit up !!!

At the end of the day . . .

Show he's wrong, or

act an ass.

Your choice.

Do you have an independent thought oust side of Rush Limbaugh?

THIS!

Amazing how RAPE isn't rape to republican. Don't forget this other halfwit republican from Texas said that if a woman is about to be raped, she should lay back and enjoy it.

Akin to Romney: Run your “own race”

RYAN_AKIN_-300x218.jpg
Paul Ryan and Todd Akin

By Eli Yokley
August 21, 2012

Speaking on Sean Hannity’s radio show Tuesday afternoon, Akin said he has heard calls publicly from Romney and personally from Vice Presidential hopeful Paul Ryan, but does not plan to leave the race.

“All of a sudden you have everyone saying you’re endangering the entire party. Don’t you think that’s a little hyperbole,” Akin said. “Why couldn’t he [Romney] run his race, and I’ll run mine?”

In my opinion, The Repubicans are no different than Islamic religious extremists under a different flag. The only thing stopping them is the fact that America is a Democracy. They want a smaller, less intrusive government that is "small enough to drown in a bathtub". If our own people can drown our government in a bathtub, so can our enemies.

Repubicans=smaller government with less regulation but without regulation, how do you check the assholes that are doing things to enhance only their bottom line?

My question to all of you, who would be more likely to change the constitution in ways that would deprive the average American of his or her freedoms, a democracy that in essence will have it's own checks and balances, or a Repubic that puts the power of the country in even fewer hands? Just my opinion.

And it's only August 28...

Upgrade, Thought, and Que have the talking points game on lock. I have to commend them for their efforts.

I can't argue with robots.

In other news, a pot called a kettle black today and was dead serious.

Hey man
Just show me where I've said anything wrong. Forget defending your indefensible, horrible, terribly dishonest candidate, just say "Hey Dave, your point here ... was wrong and here's where and why it was wrong."

You beat talking points with facts. Being on the receiving end of such beatings so much it's like you get paid to be a punching bag, you should know what that looks like.

Look Dave, none of this really matters. I don't know how much I've said this, but I will say this again. This election will be about the economy. Nothing you, Thought, or Que can do anything about that.

I'm not going to jump into a fray over a meaningless debate about abortion. Same as I'm not going to jump in a meaningless debate about guns when I know that President Obama will NEVER bring up banning guns in this election cycle.

As bad as you might try, none of this will matter more than the shape of the economy, and what has President Obama did to fix it. If you think he fixed it, keep telling people that, and see how many folks believe you.

I know you hate how I'm playing this.

What specific economic policies are you expecting Romney to introduce that haven't already been tried (and failed spectacularly) under GW Bush?

Also... how do you feel about your party's efforts to suppress the vote of minority/youth and low income populations as a strategic effort to limit voter turnout(or to put it more bluntly... to disenfranchise American citizens)?

I wouldn't say that having unemployment in the 5% range failure. Sooo... I guess I would like that back...?

Hmmm, really? Let me guess, my valid drivers license won't allow me to go vote huh?

Damn I love these talking points...

Here is a few more of our "talking points". We had a surplus and balanced books under Clinton. Unemployment dropped to 4 percent. Here come reckless, spending ass republicans.

Bush didn't get that 5 percent anymore than Obama created 9 percent unemployment. 750k jobs lost every fuckin' month under Bush who also fucked up the housing market. But republicans don't think job losses like that have ANY EFFECT on the unemployment rate.

Bush lied us into war in Iraq, spent billion killed thousands. Pushed the nations credit rating down, ran up the debt, two wars unpaid for, Medicare part D fucked up Romney screaming about also UNPAID for. A gift to the drug companies. It is also the money Obama is redirecting, not the other classes of Medicare.

A fucked up do nothing congress that put out NO jobs bills. And I still want to know, where the fuck is the WMD? No, can't talk about old shit for republicans. Somehow they think that if you run up debt on a credit card and it magically vanishes once they leave office.

Okay, sorry to hear that this thing successfully runs on auto-pilot while I was in Mandatory-Evacuation-Mode from Isaac . . . but, damn, there it is.

Nevertheless, I'm back, at least for the moment, and drying out (not because I got all wet from the non-hurricane Isaac, but because a good storm is always a good time for Grey Goose !!!) - - and lots of it !!!!

Meanwhile,

Some things never change, i.e., one poster in particular who says he has nothing more to say, but trips over himself walking through the door to say absolutely nothing -- of importance.

This election will be about the economy.

You got that right! It's all about if we continue with the obstructionist policies and then the trickle down Reagan/Bush/Bush/Romney policies the repubs are itching to re implement.

Notice we have heard little about Romney's so called Bain experiences of late. Now he can't hide behind Faux Snooze. Now he has to speak to the general public.

Game on!

BTW, what's the unemployment rate in Texass?

I wouldn't say that having unemployment in the 5% range failure. Sooo... I guess I would like that back...?

Hell, you can say Romney is going to cure cancer in his first term, but you ain't said nothing.

I understand you understand Romney has no new solutions that GW hasn't tried and failed at already.

You can fall back on dodging sharkbait28's question but remember, the debates are coming up.

Hmmm, really? Let me guess, my valid drivers license won't allow me to go vote huh?

Damn I love these talking points...

And since you brought up voting, check this out:

Feds Block 'Discriminatory' Texas Redistricting Plan

Now you are free to make excuses for your racist political party. Defend the Massa!

Poorly? Yeah, I hate that. It makes me sluggish when I talk to people who better represent your argument.

We would love to leave abortion on the sidelines but it's Republicans who keep bringing it up and not just on talk shows but in various legislation from the states to the fed. So if you don't want to talk about it, stop messing with it.

I agree with you 100% on Obama not talking about banning guns. Not him or any other politician on a national scale.

It's not just about how Obama handled the economy but does Romney offer something better. Those relatively few swing voters will be looking at the entire picture, not just the part you think looks best for Mitt.

At least he has acknowledged that he has been reading the suppression thread.

Read it and has worked hard to distort it, just not in the thread itself.

You can have your license but if you were purged from the rolls, it won't do you any good, will it?

any dumb motherfucker that STILL believes in 'trickle down' economics deserves the fucking they'll receive after the trickle (yellow piss).

:smh:

I'm still tryin to get someone to tell me what economic policies Obama implemented that was any different from Bush!

Bush - Fed Chairman = Greenspan / Bernanke
Obama - Fed Chairman = Bernanke

Same Person, Same monetary policy............Romney will do no different.

Bernanke's plan is inflationary, he's trying to reinflate a bubble......which will ultimately fail

I was waiting on you to come back lol.

1. I guess we aren't talking about President's Obama first two years huh? Yea, when he had all of congress... Remember those days?

2. People tend to forget that Clinton did some centrist politics to get the surplus. That means, he actually worked with the republicans. Remember welfare reform? The same welfare reform that President Obama despised?

3.
President-Bush-Monthly-Unemployment-Percent1.jpg

4. So I guess Syria never got WMD's from Iraq? The same ones they threaten to use against their own citizens..

5. BTW, when did our credit rating go down under Bush again?

6. Part of being president is understanding when to work with the opposition party, and when to be strong on your principles. Every president will have to do something for the greater good for the citizens of this country. If President Obama was serious about jobs, there would be an influx of jobs. You would do anything for that reality. Even if you offend some of your base.

I've stated the best way President Obama could of avoided the threat of being one term president. BHO had to deal with the economy, and seriously deal with Iran. That would of hurt ANY chance of Romney beating him. However, if President Obama did do what I suggest, Thoughtone would probably had a heart attack.

Two things the american people, historically, do not vote against. A good economy, and a war that the public understands.
