Just watched this show... Only one season, I'm mad now it didn't get renewed.

Shawn Ryan from the Shield with Tim Minear from Angel and Firefly put together this oddball detective show, and it was fucking great.

It's listed under the Anime Horror section. Once you're in that section, it's in the second row. By the way, if you watched it, what did you think of Cashback?

Haven't watched it yet...about to watch it in the next hour or so

I'm halfway thru it...dark British romantic comedy...I hate romantic comedies that being said the main character is a lil sappy but there are several funny moments...I won't front the synopsis caught my attention cuz I knew there'd be gratuitous nudity but the movie isn't what I expected...it's decent so far...it's a white comedy so there are a few wtf moments one involving a naked old man posing for art class early in the flick...aside from that I'm enjoying the flick so far

I thought that the monologs he had about how slowly time moved when he was at work, and how he felt every second, and the moments in between seconds, slip by, were very original and articulate. I relate because I feel the same way about how slowly time moves at my dumb ass job. Because I don't always have a direct line of sight to a clock, I wear a watch to work mainly because I'll lose my concept of time if I don't; to torment me, time will move slower unless I wear a watch to keep it honest. Also, in the movie, that white kid who fronted like he was a karate expert kept me cracking up.

Ya to an extent I was able to connect w/ the character...esp. w/ the flashbacks too that's why I stuck w/ the flick...it's finishing up now...I enjoyed the flick...I thought the karate kid dude was kinda unnecessary but he had some funny moments tho

I like the freeze world gimmick too representing him retreating into his mind...good flick...glad I took a chance on it

For zombie/black comedy fans, I recommend Fido:

The scenario is that zombies were beaten in the zombie wars and are now used as domestics (e.g. maids, lawncare, etc.) The movie is set during the "Leave it to Beaver" time period. The movie isn't as gory as a lot of zombie movies but it's out there! Oh, beware of necrophilia that's kind of hinted at though not overtly shown...

Jeezus Christ this movie was horrible and predictable every step of the way...I've read a lot of XXX comics posted here so the ending wasn't a twist @ all...the "surprise" twist on the shuttle was obvious as hell too...halfway thru it I just said fuck it and just ffwd thru the rest of the shit just to see some nudity which was nonexistent until she seen that photograph...horrible writing/acting

For those who like twist at the end, great movie. I first watched it in 2009 when it was available for online viewing on Netflix, now it's available through streaming, check it out. Warning: slow pace, not a lot of action, BUT suspenseful and fuck my head up at the end when I first seen it. Watched it again just this week.

I don't know if it was already posted, but that show Trailer Park Boys is hilarious. Check it out if you want a good laugh.

I started watching Archer, the series from FX (I think). It's not too bad--it has its funny moments. As a side note, the female from Archer is the sexiest cartoon character I've seen to date, and I would fuck her before any other cartoon character, if she were real, or if I was a cartoon, if I could.

I got bored with that and started watching the Anime Monster. Monster is a great Anime. It's about a prominent surgeon who jeopardized his career to save a child. The child as it turns out happens to be a serial killer--who was shot by his own sister (because she knew he was a monster). Years later, once the surgeon realizes he saved the life of a serial killer, feeling responsible for serial killer's murders, he decides it's his duty to quit being a doctor and kill the serial killer he unknowingly saved years earlier. A plot twist is the police think that he's the serial killer, so he has to evade them.

The first 3, or 4, episodes are really slow (and maybe not worth watching if you can live with missing how the series starts, but if you skip them read their synopsis). But the series picks up pretty good after that. There are like 74 episodes. I'm on episode 19. It's a fucking excellent, and suspenseful, anime that I recommend to everyone.

I been telling ya'll about this for years. If anyone doesn't have NetFlix I posted some DL links somewhere (I think someone else did too) but it's great. Don't skip the episodes though cause when you get to the end you just gonna watch it again anyway...everything that happen is a 'wtf' moment
