NoDQ.com > WWE > Kharma Tells TMZ She Did Not Have Her Baby
Posted by Steve Carrier on 03/07/2012 at 08:20 AM

- It's sad to report that WWE Diva Kia "Kharma" Stevens did not deliver her son on December 31st, despite what she told friends, according to a new article from TMZ. Kharma told the website that her baby passed away before she was able to give birth.

Kharma told TMZ that she initially lied to friends about the child being healthy because she was incredibly emotional and afraid to tell the public the truth after announcing her pregnancy on WWE TV.

Kharma is planning on starting a foundation

That is so sad. Sad in general but particularly sad if you've ever met her and seen how genuinely nice she is and how excited she seemed to be about being pregnant.

Regarding the relationship between Dwayne Johnson and John Cena behind the scenes, while the two are cordial with each another, they are not the best of friends. There is genuine tension between both stars, which was said to have intensified in the weeks leading up to Survivor Series.

One former WWE insider who has worked with both Johnson and Cena said of their relationship: "They aren't buddy-buddy, that's for sure. I’ve heard they’ve disagreed about a lot of things. They aren’t big fans of one another personally, but they are willing to carry on with business."

If this is true then it shows how bitch made Cena has looked in these promos, you can tell Rock is trying to keep it storyline but Cena is acting childish. The notes were a work but the smiling and interrupting him before he can deliver the final line is plain sorry. As Dave has stated wrestlers have always complained but at least they were men, todays wrestlers are entitled brats:smh:

Hell, Cena vs Miz had better build up last year because it was the heel getting the better of Cena and leaving him laying almost every week. It was like Dusty Rhodes or Ernie Ladd was booking the build up last year. But this year, the weekly dueling promos will burn out quickly (and already seems to be going by the ratings).

Remember the rap beef between Jay-Z and Cam'ron?

Me neither.

That's me and diego.
Everyone here states their opinion and do so strongly at times but we've managed to do so for 260 pages without attacking each other and being assholes. That's how you contribute.
I SEE COMPLETELY IGNORING THE STUPID QUOTES, SO I'M NOT WELCOME BECAUSE I HAVN'T HOPPED ON THE ROCK STAN ZOMBIES CLAN?I DON'T KNOW YOU NOR DO I CARE IF YOU IGNORE ME. BUT I WON'T IGNORE YOU FUNNY HOW YOU ACTING JUST LIKE CENA NOW! SO FUNNY..... BYE BITCH:lol:

I see the opposite way, d.
Seeing as there is legit tension between the two (no different than Dusty and Ric back in the days or Rock and HHH) then Cena's doing good business in putting The Rock over as much as he does. If he doesn't let Rock Rock-Bottom him at Survivor Series, it doesn't happen. Same thing with Mania (which I thought made him and Miz look bad).

According to the reports the tension really kicked up after SS. Cena made himself and Miz look bad at Mania because of his bullshit sandbag performance, He got the Rock Bottom at SS but did you see how he no sold it? His first promo where he went at Rock was good but the last 2 have been horrible and don't do anything to help sell the match. The only thing i can gather is if this is storyline then he is trying to make Dwayne snap and turn into The Rock. The concert next week might be the turning point because they can't keep doing these promos every week, i do find it funny that they work so much better when they don't interact with each other:lol:

:( sad indeed. I hope the WWE given her the support she need.

I didn't notice anything funny about how he sold the RB at SS because he always undersells shit.
At Mania, I just thought he and Miz had bad chemistry (which WWE should have foreseen and made them work tags or something at house shows before since in their previous feud it was all near squash matches). The Rock's interference and his non-reaction made it worse.

You're seeing what I was hoping they would avoid but knew they wouldn't: having them faceoff every week won't work because it wipes the "new" off the feud. At this point, they should be on some "fuck talking" shit and have to be restrained every week. Impact! is getting this right with their top feuds right now.

Listening to the Rock/Cena bickering

The Rock don't need WWE, the WWE needs the Rock! This is possibly the Rock's last Wrestlemania because he wrestled the best the WWE has had.

And the best heel the WWE has "today" is John Laurinaitis (Johnny Ace) he's not even a wrestler!

So what happens after Wrestlemania?

Actually, I don't think either is benefitting at this point. They could draw 3s without him for less cost. Mania's increased buyrate won't make up for every other show doing significantly worse. John Laurinaitis being the top heel (not best, that's Vickie) is just another symptom of the overall problem that having the Rock or SCSA or any one else pop in won't solve and right now, it's just dragging down Rock.

The Rock is fine but the WWE isn't. The WWE lacks character development and FCW isn't helping. WWE wants to reestablish stars so they can own their likeness. WWE is it worst enemy not TNA or ROH. The writers don't know the basics of wrestling and building a storyline, stuff is so rush.

R u serious my man? Rock giving cena a RB was the most pointless shit ever. Miz is just a bad main eventer as evidenced by him getting numerous stars hurt. He didn't belong in the Wm main event at all. We should've got rock vs cena last year.

Cena had been great the last two weeks and rock has been just as good. This Wm is shaping up to be special. I don't see any other superstar but cena being in this spot against rock. Only hbk, hhh, or taker could do it. Cenas doing fine man stop bashing the Dude and enjoy the show.

It was pointless so what? He still undersold it yet his FU is suppose to be this devastating finisher that you can't kick out of. Miz was mismanaged throughout that entire storyline but he still did the best he could. Mania is setting up to be a flop if they don't get their head out of their ass, and the only reason you think it's special is because your boy is in the ME. Finally since you love Cena so much why don't you tweet him and tell him when someone calls you a bitch, don't stand there and smile like one afterwards.

What happening in this thread right now? Liking someone makes an automatic 'stan'? really

Looking at the promos for the main event matches for Mania, I think it's easy to see what divides generations of Flair/Rhodes from Rock/Austin and Cena/Punk. All this shit is scripted so I don't understand why people keep bringing that up as a argument point. The only thing that has changed is how people approach using the script. Back in the day, they handed guys like Flair and Dusty a script and then stepped back and let those two put their own unique personality into. Kind of the same thing during the Rock/Austin days. The wrestlers were given more wiggle room to bring their personality to the forefront. Clearly today, we are a more micromanaged culture, so people like Cena and Punk are told not use their natural personalities, but instead, stand there and smile when someone gets in your face. These feuds don't necessarily speak to their overall ability because the people in the back are clearly more interested in making money now with this Mania than making money later by building stars. Sad but true, that's just how the business works now.

As for this whole 'stan' issue. Both Rock and Cena are using semi-scripted material. The Rock is just better at it. Dude is funny, I genuinely want to hear what he will say next. It's about entertainment and dude is simply more entertaining than Cena. It's that simply. I kinda doubt it has anything to do with people being stans for one guy and actually hating the other. We want to be entertained and laugh ever once in a while .... The Rock brings the comedy.

I have to disagree with one narrow point. Flair didn't have a script and neither did Dusty or Cornette, Ricky Morton or any other great promo from back in the day. That's why they had so many managers to help guys who couldn't talk. What the old guys had was the booker telling them what towns they were working that week and who their opponent was and they went from there. If the booker had a particular direction they wanted them to go, they instructed them but that's completely different from what they do today with completely scripted and produced promos where the only guys allowed any freedom are the veterans.
Everything else, I completely agree.
The stan shit is stupid beyond words. The thread was invaded by a moron and he's tried to take it left of where it normally is.

Well I try to be respectful but when people tell me to O.D on pills and stuff my response will be F you. Simply put I just like Cena, I have nothing against the Rock but everything he says is the same shit from like 10 years ago. Its fucking old. Cena is going barb for barb with the rock yet he stoops to telling us how much his chants are on twitter. It may be scripted but this is looking to be a good match. And dudes sayin I just care because it's Cena is wrong, I'm all for a good main event, but last year Miz didn't deserve it. Cena has had some great matches so for him to blow WM's ME is beyond hating on dude. Cena isn't where he is from having bad matches, dude is one of the harder workers in the E. You bash him for not selling moves well guess what Taker is still the king, and HHH is the prince.

Rock is a legend but it serves no freaking point having your top guy lose to a dude who hasnt wrestled in years!!

I have a non-Mania main event question. I've been fast forwarding through Raw for the last couple of weeks to the Cena/Rock & Punk/Jericho stuff, but were they setting up Santino & Kofi vs. Swagger & Ziggler, cause that's definitely what I saw during that US title match. I was wondering how they would crowbar in that skateboard Johnny / Teddy Long angle. This is the tag match we're getting. I'm not even sure who the tag championships are right now? If memory serves, it was Primo and Epico, but that was like two months ago, so who knows.

They look like they may be playing this match the way they played Austin's heel turn @ wrestlemania 17. Cena so desperate for a win that he'll sell out to do it.

That's what I see too, even if Cena does not go heel he will do something that calls in to question his integrity, it will be played up on until he fully embraces the hate

You know what's funny...
I agree with all of that.
When you talk about Taker and selling, when he was in full cartoon, no-sell mode, he was a sideshow act but once he started selling, he became and stayed a main eventer. The problem I have with Cena not selling as much or as well as he should isn't with him because everyone in the back has to see what I see at home and if they choose to not correct him and continue to book him like Superman, it's on them.

I can't tell you. It seems like it's going to be a Team Long vs Team Lauranitis for control of both shows with Santino on one side and Swagger and Ziggler on the other. I don't know who the other guys are but it's getting to the point where I'm not sure where they're going to fit in the tag titles because they've also made it look like they're steering Ziggler/Swagger and Kofi/Truth in that direction (yes, Primo and Epico are still champs).

Get off Dwayne's dick. Y'all cradling the people's sack way too hard. See u in a month when rocky's gone and u go back to watching rock VHS highlights.

Unfortunately if that happens it'll be because the product sucks and Cena will be back in a meaningless feud against some foe who never really gets heat or the best of Cena at any point during the feud. I prefer the Rock over Cena. Part of it is on Cena with the bad jokes and the preachy sermonlike promos. The rest is on the company for not letting him look human and beatable and for not doing a good enough job building the other wrestlers to where you could look at them as being even close to his level. Rock had the benefit of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Y2J, HHH, Taker, Hogan, etc and short of Edge the same can't be said of Cena.

:lol::lol::lol:, I dont know which is better, him as a heel or face...btw whatever happened to that feud he was to have with Miz ? I think they had mabye 1, 2 matches and that was the last I seen or heard of it....but I might be mistaken

You're guess is as good as mine. I thought they were building it up for a midcard Mania match but it doesn't look likely that either guy will even be on the show.
Whenever I see this, all I can think about is the Boondocks 'scared straight' episode. I hear the guy in the background yelling @ Cena, "You gonna let that man get all up in ya face. You see kids, Cena just had his manhood tested and he failed. He should have knocked my motherfucking head off. And you know what that means ...."

See that doesn't make sense to me. It bugs me when dudes say Cena never loses or always looks superhuman. When he was getting murked by NXT for weeks on end those same people who said that were nowhere to be found. Or when CM Punk was handing Cena his ass promo after promo and took the title from him at SS. Or maybe when Miz was beating him at PPV's and at WM? He loses and gets booked just like every other main eventer. I've been watching since I was a kid and Austin and Rock used to be booked as superhuman as well, I've never seen Cena clear a ring of 15 superstars with right hands (Austin) or watched Cena dominate the crap out of up and coming stars and squash them at the same time (Rocky). Dudes need to realize thats the WWE way when they get a top guy.

And tell me how many of yall would be pissed if it was Taker begging Cena for a rematch AFTER HE FUCKING BEAT HIM LAST YEAR AT WM!!!!! Yall gotta put everyone in the same light not just Cena. Thats when I call hate on yall dudes.

The angle with NXT is the one angle that everybody in this thread has cited as them doing things right with a Cena angle. Problem was that they just a little bit instead of really making it seem like he was going to lose. The buildup at SummerSlam was good but then Cena defeats NXT by taking the top 2 guys in the faction out within 30 seconds of each other. They do the whole firing schtick complete with farewell speech for him to show up on the next show and beat the whole groups ass for weeks.
As for the Punk thing yes Punk killed him with the promos and then won the match after Cena releases the submission he has Punk in, goes outside the ring and then returns to the ring right into the GTS. Cena has been world champ 12 times and when was the last time he was beat clean for the belt without some shenanigans.
The Wrestlemania thing was ok in terms of Miz getting some heat. Problem was that Miz was treated like the 3rd wheel during the thing and the finish to the match sucked.
I saw Austin and Rock both get their asses handed to them to close out plenty of Raws. Cena not so much. Hell back in the day Hogan would at some point get his ass kicked to the upmost only to eventually overcome a foe that you legitimately thought had him beat.
The best feuds for Cena have been Nexus, Edge and Batista and all of those involved a level of the other party getting the best of him that usually does not occur to Cena. He gets treated with far more importance than anybody else on the roster. Who else could lose a match at a major PPV, get injured according to the WWE during the match and then have their first match back be a scheduled world title match and not even against the guy who injured them.

He couldn't even sell the Nexus beating, remember him giving the wave while being carted off on the stretcher? He then released this statement the following day not even selling the beating

John Cena took to his twitter to update the WWE Universe over his “injuries”:

CeNation. Sorry for delay. Checked out fine. Mild concussion and some back and hip trouble, but I am in 1 piece. Thank u for your concern.

Followed by him destroying them at Summerslam after receiving a ddt on the concrete floor, if you look at it again he made the Nexus his bitch:smh:

Good questions...

Just to be clear, I was critical of the idea of a HHH-Taker third Mania match and I still am but the build up has been well done as usual with those guys. HHH will not let Vince's comedy writers fuck up his angle.

Great answers.

Forget comparing Cena's booking to Austin and Rock but to Hogan, which it most resembles.
As much as I didn't like Hogan during his Hulkamania peak, he took plenty of ass whoopings to build up the heel in his feuds. He never beat Piper or Orndorff in his feuds with them and beat up by Bundy, Andre, Perfect and Earthquake, not to mention all the countout and dq losses he took to nearly everybody to set up the rematch.
The times when fans really got behind Cena to a greater extent was in the few feuds he was portrayed as the underdog in (as already pointed out by commander): Edge, Batista, Nexus. We're saying that Cena's feuds would be more enjoyable if they were better written and booked.

:yes::yes AGREED

truth

Cena earns the bashing with his poor acting and his inability to figure out which emotion he should be portraying.
But, and I keep saying this because some people keep missing it, I heap even more blame on the Creative and Management because ultimately, they approve of what Cena is doing and direct him to be that way.
If anything this thread has been overwhelming about bashing bad booking, whether it's about Cena in particular or WWE and TNA in general.
