Kofi should at least get one world title reign down the road...It's a safe bet that he'll be in the MITB match being that they like having at least one or two " high-flyers " in the match...speaking of which where's Sin Cara at ????

Sin Cara is injured. At this point I doubt that Kofi gets a title run. For one there are too many faces ahead of him.

Keeping his eyes open was the thing I always liked about how Vince took the stunner

I know other people hated it, but I always liked that. He would keep his eyes open and twitch a little bit before laying there motionless like he actually died. Shit use to crack me up every time.

Yeah, that was good.:D

He will be in MitB but he'll never be more than an IC/US/tag champ unless a bunch of guys get hurt or quit. And it's shame because he is so good and I think WWE fans are into him.
Maybe he gets one of those "Thanks for your hard work" reigns like Rey Mysterio or Christian: not long but at least he can say he was the champ.

UWF GREAT SAVANNAH JACK PASSES AWAY
by Dave Scherer @ 5:55 PM on 1/24/2012

The Star Tribune is reporting that "Savannah" Jack Russell, who was a star in the Bill Watts' UWF promotion, passed away on 1/17 after a lengthy battle with cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. He was 63 years old.
Russell was a member of the great UWF roster that, had the oil industry in the Mid-South area not gone south, could have given the WWF huge competition back in the mid 80s. We pass along our condolences to his family.

I'm really hating this whole CENA hulk/hyde turn... it's sooooo stupid

I hate cena, and I hate this

The anger face was extreeeeeemly campy:smh:

:yes::smh:

The booking is stupid and Cena is a horrible actor. How can they not see he can't act so stop forcing him into these things? Paul Heyman played to his wrestlers strengths in ECW. For years now, WWE Creative has allowed Cena's weaknesses to be exposed over and over on a weekly basis.

:yes:The smart thing would be to hire Heyman and give him "carte blanche", but we all know that won't happen because Stephanie hates his guts. The creative team is filled with morons who have no idea how to develop guys, and they come up with the most ridiculous ideas and are shocked when they flop.

SO, does all this embrace the hate mean Cena will finally turn heal?:dance::dance:

If anything I expect Cena to go into the WM match with the Rock being the heel just as HBK wen't into his match with Hogan as the heel. After the match/feud is over with Rock, were see the same old Cena shit. I doubt Vince will permantely trade in all the merchandise sells he makes off the Lil Jimmy's for more compelling tv and character development for Cena.

So do you think we'll get a clean win at Mania, or will there be some type angle? I can't see Rock losing in his hometown, and I can't see them letting Rock beat Cena clean either. This will probably be their biggest Mania in years, so I am hoping for something interesting to take place.

Also, are they getting ready to turn Triple H heel?

HHH isn't going heel anymore. The best time to do it was when Punk came back and have him in the place they have Lauranitis. They've decided what the people want is HHH vs Taker at Mania again (:smh:).

I don't think they'll run an angle so I expect a clean finish but this is really one of the rare Mania main event matches where I don't know who's going to win. Cena should win and he's their guy but celebrities always win in WWE and Rock is more popular than Cena.
The "Embrace the Hate" angle is a lame attempt to give Cena some edge going into Mania without turning him but it's being done so badly, he looks dopey instead of tough.

Like Dave said I have no ideal who's gonna come out as the winner. When Cena said he was gonna put the WWE title on the line that was a clear give away who's was gonna come out the victor in their match. I don't need to mention who's more over and that it's Rock hometown but Cena is the company man. Cena losing only works if theres a rematch at Summerslam so that Cena goes over.

As great of a match HHH & Taker put on last year, I really don't wan't to see part two. The last match was a no holds barred match, I don't think they can top the last match especially how they kept Taker off tv for a year to sell the match. Too bad Brock didn't retire earlier, this years Mania would have been crazy.

Yep.
When they said it was going to be a WWE title match, they gave away the ending because Rock shouldn't win the title. But a non title match, especially if it's a grudge, no dq style match, I can't call it.
I knew how all the main events with Hogan were going to end (though Sid surprised me and everybody kicking out of the legdrop at Mania XIII). HHH over Jericho? Of course. HHH over Booker? Seriously. Rock over Hogan? Stop playing around. The only two times I've been surprised was when Yoko beat Bret and then lost to Hogan :hmm: and Miz beating Cena. But even with those, I expected a different outcome. Rock/Cena is completely up in the air and I like that.

They had an entire year to build up someone to wrestle (and, I feel, beat Taker) at Mania and they chose not to. HHH doesn't need another big payday and we've seen this match twice at Mania and a couple times on other ppvs. With the added attention of Rock/Cena, they could have used this as a means to make another main event player to take Taker and HHH's place but they no longer see things like that and that's a shame.

Tentative Card for WWE's WrestleMania 28
Posted on 01/26/2012 at 10:54 AM

- Based on early talk, here's what looks to be the tentative card for WrestleMania 28 so far:

The Rock vs. John Cena

WWE Title Match
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Big Show vs. Shaquille O'Neal

World Heavyweight Title Match

Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Divas Match

two quick observations:

what two Divas will be in this match ? I reckon Beth Phoenix will since she still has the belt and I'm sure this would probably be the first or second match on the card

Shaq really ? this nig needs to be in the spotlight I see...mabye Show will appear on TNT one night and ambush Shaq in the dressing room .... I guess this also means Big Show is about to do another heel turn ? seems like half the damn Smackdown roster consist of heels cept for Orton and Sheamus.

I would think they would have Beth Phoenix defend the title (if she's still champ) at Mania but it won't be the second match. They used the Divas' matches as "cool down" matches between main events so it'll come between Punk/Jericho and Rock/Cena. If they have MitB, that might go on second.

Fuck them if they have it the year after I go to my first WrestleMania.:hmm:

They don't have to turn Show for a match with Shaq. It will depend on how the fans receive Shaq to see what they'll do with Show. Floyd Mayweather was supposed to be the babyface at first for his Mania match with Show but the fans booed the shit out of him and they flipped him (which was the right way to go in the first place).

The order probably gone be similar to last year:

Heavyweight title match - Money in the Bank - Probably a last minute match inserted - Divas match - HHH/Taker - Shaq/Show - Cena/Rock

im assuming daniel bryan will run-in and cost show the match

I just want them to give somebody a monster push and let them beat Taker. Like after Taker beats HHH again, on the way to the back, Taker walks by an up-and-coming talent in the back to kind of foreshadow the match. They subtlety push the guy the whole year, get him some good victories, make him look like a solid guy, then have they guy challenge Taker and beat him clean. And I think it should be a technical guy, a guy who can really wrestle, and has charisma like a young, Chris Jericho/Kurt Angle kind of guy.

I honestly don't want to see anymore Taker matches period. If he was going to pass the torch to a younger guy, they should have done it years ago. At this point I would rather see him just make a appearance this year to play to the crowd. They can do the black out thing, throw up 19 and 0 in flames, do some fancy pyro and lightning effects, and let Taker leave undefeated.

They don't have a Brock-level young guy anywhere on the roster that I would like to see beat Taker. Barrett and Sheamus (heel) were close to that level last year, but they've both done nothing since going to Smackdown. And I damn sure don't want to see HHH pat himself on the back by being the guy to end the streak. He does NOT need the win or the big PPV payday.
