Initially I hated that Broadus gimmick but shit you know what? That shit starting to grow on me. Everyone can't be a big mean big man. There's enough of them.

When most of the giants are vets like Henry and Kane, they need a new young one. Like I said, I kind of like it but it's not a good move long term if they really want to explore his full potential. Comedy big men don't go far no matter how over they get.

I still expect Mason Ryan to end up being a monster heel to take the US title off Ryder. But Zeke could work. So much misused talent.:smh:

Okay, not Ryan but I see him taking it off Swagger pretty soon since they love roid freaks and seem to hate Swagger.

I think that Cornette's beef is more with Kevin Dunn and Stephanie then Vince. That can be rectified hopefully because they all deserve to be in. My question would be if they do like the Horsemen and do the fav or most popular incarnation or put all the members of the Midnight Express in.
Corny hates Dunn but beefing with Steph is beefing with Vince. You can get away with shitting on Shane but not his baby girl.

I think they would go with Dennis and Bobby since Dennis has worked for WWE in recent years while Stan has walked completely away from the business since his retirement with a few exceptions.

No I can't and I doubt that it would work.

Me too but that's the only kind of babyface they seem to know how to book.
At this point, I can't wait for Drew to end up in New Japan or ROH.

Haven't watched ROH's TV show but from what I hear the fans continued to cheer the Briscoes no matter what they did so at the last IPPV the 2 faced and Haas/Benjamin beat the shit out of them before their match got started, continued to be blatantly aggressive during the match so the Briscoes ended up being the faces in peril and pulled out the win. And quite frankly the Briscoes are fucking ridiculous.

Thanks. I love the Briscoes videos. They are incredible and come across like real crazy, kick ass mofos. They are a throwback to guys coming up with their own promos and ideas for promos and the company just saying "okay".

That was funny. Get tagged in, troll the audience and leave smiling...that's all I even wanted to see.

It made me think back to Brian Pillman in ECW, jumping in the ringb to save Chris Jericho from Taz and when Taz suplexes the shit out of guy, he hops back out and runs away, beating up El Puerto Ricano on the way.

If only the WWE could've kept the moment they had right after their awesome Money on the bank PPV. Punk is still the man to me, and the Jericho stuff intrigues me, but it'll take more than that to keep me for good. I'll keep watching on and off until WM, but otherwise I much prefer the consistency from Feds like Chikara, Evolve, and Shimmer (and that's just state side, lots to like out of Japan).

Speaking of EVOLVE, they have the internet on fire for the way they shut down the old ECW Arena and put a ton of heat on Sami Callihan. I hope this works out for them in the long run.

THE REASON AIR BOOM LOST THE TAG TEAM TITLES WAS....by Dave Scherer @ 9:57 AM on 1/17/2012
WWE announced the following this morning.

STAMFORD, Conn., January 17, 2012 – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE (NYSE:WWE) has suspended Matthew Korklan (Evan Bourne®) for 60 days effective Tuesday, January 17 for his second violation of the company’s policy.

Dude, just quit and go work with Gabe in DGUSA and EVOLVE and smoke your weed.

Trust me you weren't the only one, your second comment is what's wrong with the WWE because it takes another legend to get people back watching. I don't mind Punk taking shots but it seems like he gets to talk but the others can't respond, because we all know there's ammo there if they would let them speak.

Having it there and being able to take advantage is two different things. They don't have enough talkers and need a guy like Jericho to engage Punk. Austin isn't going to do it and Chris can still go in the ring. Outside Punk, the guys who can talk don't win (Christian) and the guys who win can't talk (Cena and Orton, who used to be able to cut promos but hasn't cut a good one in I don't know how long)

And why won;t they give CM Punk a mic more often. That last promo with Johnny L. and Mick Foley was brilliant. Let CM Punk be CM Punk and not Cena lite.

Ace is a great comic foil but that won't work on everyone. Doing it every now and then is fine but like i said unless they allow wrestlers to go at him then it just makes him come off like a whiny bitch, the ultimate ether with Punk is that since he became champ the ratings have never been lower.

I wanna see that gm as a wrestler back in the day.. yo, aj is a lil sexy thing too.. phew she's bad.

I can't be the only one that took notice how nice Vickie's tits looked. Anyway, the Jericho stuff and lead up to Royal Rumble has me back watching the WWE temporarily.

You weren't and I wonder if Vickie being banned from ringside is the opening for her daughter to show up.

The first time someone mentions the ratings dip on Raw, they will be "future endeavored" before the next Smackdown taping.

I can't be the only one that took notice how nice Vickie's tits looked.

You ain't.

I keep having this fantasy where I'm a wrestler and she bumps into me in the hallway after a promo and she looks me up and down and says quietly "well excuse me..." and I say "no, excuse me" then I lift her up, we bust slob, take her to my locker room, I slam the door and bang her out. All while she was supposed to be ringside as a manager, but nobody can find her because we in my locker room knockin' boots.

Which is funny since Vince probably let's them know every week. It will be interesting to see how they look now since there's no more competition, i swear every excuse and im sorry but not all MNF games were must see tv.

Forget the fact that they had higher ratings when there was MNF AND Nitro competing.

Book shitty product and people will stop watching, no matter who the champ is.
To defend Punk, often he's in the middle of the show with Cena at the end and the ratings for the second half have been lower than the first half for over a year now.

One more thing about Broadus, more specifically Naomi

When the Funkasaurus gimmick is over, where does she go? With Broadus, you just repackage him like they did Mark Henry when he stopped being Sexual Chocolate but if they don't think enough of Naomi as a wrestler to bring her up as one now, what happens when this ends?

Some also are questioning the exclusion of Ole Anderson (Al “Rock” Rogowski), a member of the original Horsemen, from the soon-to-be-honored group.

Anderson, however, has stated in the past that he had no interest in taking part in anything related to WWE and company owner Vince McMahon.

He said Friday that his stance hasn’t changed.

“Vince McMahon hates my guts, and I don’t like him. So that’s all there is to it,” said Anderson, who was part of one of wrestling’s most famous tag teams, The Minnesota Wrecking Crew, with the late Gene Anderson.

“To be a part of that, anyone with a brain knows who the first Four Horsemen were. It was me and Arn and Ric and Tully Blanchard, and J.J. Dillon was the manager. So if they don’t know that, they don’t know anything about wrestling anyway. So what’s the difference?”

“Vince McMahon is never going to call me,” added Anderson. “I hate his guts just like he hates mine. It’s no big deal.”

Even if he wanted to, he wouldn’t be able to attend due to health problems, said Anderson, 69, who has battled multiple sclerosis in recent years.

“I can’t go anywhere anyway. I’m so screwed up from the multiple sclerosis. I’m in a wheelchair right now, and that thing kills me after a little while and then I have to lay down. That’s my routine. How would I get there? By car? I couldn’t do that. By airplane? I just couldn’t get there.”

Furthermore, said Anderson, he has difficulty assigning any type of value to the induction.

“They’ve inducted me in some halls already. Years ago I was down there with Verne Gagne and Lou Thesz. Who the hell is better than Verne Gagne and Lou Thesz? I wrestled both of them, and I know exactly what they could do. Verne asked me what I thought back then about our induction, and I said, ‘Who’s going to care? Twenty years from now nobody will even know who you are. And there’s probably not too many people who know who you are right now.’ Lou Thesz and Verne Gagne were certainly two guys who should have been in any kind of hall of fame. But what did it mean? Nothing.”

And, he adds, it wouldn’t mean anything now.

“I told Vince McMahon to go (expletive deleted), and I wouldn’t change my mind now.”

Mulligan, one of Anderson’s old ring foes, called it a “travesty” that Ole wasn’t included.

“Ole was the mastermind of the whole deal. It’s always been Ole’s deal. It makes Vince’s Hall of Fame cheapened,” Mulligan told the Fight Sports Examiner. “Ole is so hard-headed, he’s not gonna listen. Ole and I have the unique ability to put our foot in our mouths. We just can’t shut up at times. We think we are too smart sometimes. But Ole had one of the greatest minds this business has ever seen. And he should be in the Hall of Fame with the Horsemen.”

I noticed during Raw and the replay of the live event that Bourne took the pin both times. He better be carefully before he ends up going the Hardy route. Mainly because he ain't no where near as profitable as either Hardy brother.

I hope Kofi can move back to Smackdown and find a good role over there as a singles wrestler.

This shit with Jericho is killing me  The only thing that could have made it better would have been if he out the jacket back on before he left the ring

That's what bothers me. She got brought up to be a backup dancer with another female who has no shot at being a regular wrestler but I guess she gets a fatter check without taking any bumps. Of course, since they've never really acknowledged who she is she could just wrestle with no past history.

No Wrestlemania for Jerry Jones

Sorry, Dallas, no "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for you next year.

Despite a strong online push and interest by both the Dallas Cowboys and World Wrestling Entertainment, the two parties will not be able to come to an agreement to bring the showcase wrestling event to Arlington in the next two years due to conflicts with the NCAA Men's basketball tournament.

"We can't host WrestleMania the next two years because of NCAA Regional in '13 and Final Four in '14," Dallas Cowboys spokesman Brett Daniels told The Dallas Observer. "We've talked with them and gave it a shot but couldn't make the schedule work."

Over the past several years, the WWE has held their biggest event of the year in large, outdoor football stadiums. Starting in 2007, the event was held at Ford Field in Detroit, followed by Orlando's Citrus Bowl, Houston's Reliant Stadium, Phoenix's University of Phoenix Stadium and last year at the Georgia Dome.

Sun Life Stadium will host Wrestlemania 28 on April 1 in Miami. The main event will feature a match between John Cena and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Johnson was a defensive tackle for the Miami Hurricanes and was a member of their 1991 national championship team.

During a television taping in Dallas on Oct. 13, WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, led a sold-out crowd at the American Airlines Center in a chant of "We want Wrestlemania," and the scene was captured by camera's and posted to the company's website.

When Jerry Jones was building Cowboys Stadium, he expressed his desire to bring more events than football games to the place many have labeled "Jerry World."

The NCAA Men's Final Four in 2014 will join a list of events at the stadium that already includes sold-out concerts from the likes of U2, Paul McCartney and George Strait to the 2010 NBA All-Star Game (and the record-breaking crowd of 108,713 that attended), two Manny Pacquiao fights and Super Bowl XLV.

I'm not suprised by the comments about Vickie ....Vince isnt going to have any unattractive women on his shows that's why she had to lose weight and repackaged for sex appeal

Hell I wouldnt be suprised if whenever Karma comes back she'll have lost some weight as well..

No they don't but he got to be a lot closer to the real Punk Monday night at the end.
For him to work as a face, he can't be whiny (see how that worked for Bret Hart), he has to be frustrated. HHH wouldn't let that happen and have fans boo him but John Lauranitis will fit the bill of the "corporate asshole" fine.
That was the best mic work of Lauranitis career.

There's a chance of that and I hope it happens. If Alicia Fox can go from Edge and Vickie's wedding planner to a wrestler, Naomi can disappear when the Funkasaurus gimmick ends and come back as a wrestler.
Personally, I thought she would have been a perfect fit for Beth and Natalya's "Sisters of Doom" or whatever they called it and being the rookie, she could take the falls instead of Nattie getting squashed every week.

Another great example.
I see they've given Broadus Mike Knox' Flying Bear finisher.
I think he should use Bam Bam Bigelow's "Greetings From Asbur Park" over the shoulder piledriver. It's the safest piledriver but it looks good.

I don't know what's up with Stan Lane but Bobby Eaton also worked as a trainer with William Regal in WWE developmental. They worked with both Brian Kendrick and Daniel Bryan.

Didn't know about Bobby. That makes me think there's a good chance they will find a way to induct them eventually, just without Cornette, who has said he doesn't want heat between him and the company to hold back the other guys.

i don't get it. He is with the company for years and doesn't flunk anything and then flunks 2 tests in just around 2 months.

The word is he got popped for synthetic marijuana and they haven't been testing for it until recently.
That still doesn't explains him getting caught back to back like that especially during this time of the year with the Rumble and Elimination Chamber coming up. He's out a good six figures not working those shows.
Just quit, Evan.

With Vickie, I think she felt the pressure just being around the Divas to get into better shape. Who wants to be the fat chick in a locker room full of models?
But if Kharma loses weight, she's out of a job. She's got to be big to make it work, just like the monsters on the men's side.

What happened to Mr. Anderson? Haven't seen dude in a minute.

Found an answer for you

Ken Anderson, who had been taking some time off for personal issues, will return to action at this weekend's TNA live events in MA. Shannon Moore, who hasn't been seen in several weeks, is also set for the live events on 1/20 in Worcester, MA, 1/21 in Plymouth, MA and 1/22 in Lowell, MA. Scheduled for the shows:

Kharma- excuse me for spelling it wrong :hmm:

anyway I seriously doubt she's coming back with all the baby fat on her.

I wasn't correcting your spelling, WWE uses a different coloring for the "harm" to make it stand out. I think it's neat so I do it too.

Baby fat? No, she's probably burned most of that off already to get back in shape but she'll still be a big girl.

Evan Bourne Trying to Get Fired?
Date Added: January 19, 2012
Story By: Marc Middleton

- Whether this is true or not, there was speculation among some of the WWE talents this week that Evan Bourne was trying to get himself fired after failing another Wellness test just weeks after he returned from the first suspension.

Have fun in Japan Evan. Tell MVP the brothas on BGOL said wassup.

TNA May Be Able to Sue WWE for Using Ric Flair at HOF
Date Added: January 19, 2012
Story By: Marc Middleton
Source: F4Wonline.com

- The argument could be made that TNA has the legal right to sue WWE since they are using a contracted TNA performer to draw ticket sales and DVD sales for the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame with Ric Flair being inducted with The Four Horsemen.

No word yet if TNA will pursue any kind of action against WWE but as of earlier this week, they had not made any decision. It's possible TNA could work out a deal where WWE would pay them a settlement for their usage of Flair.

I hope they don't go the court system route on this one. The true fans aren't going to accept the horsemen getting inducted without Flair. If the horsemen are going in, Flair NEEDS to be there. TNA just needs to work on getting that undisclosed money on the back end and let the fans have this one for the overall picture of the business.

I don't see TNA going that route. They will let Ric go (if he's still under contract, which isnt exactly clear).
The funny thing is if this was Vince and Eric Bischoff had done this shit on Nitro, he would definitely sue.

My sole problem with it (but not big enough to keep me from buying it of course), is : why put it out before Mania and possibly his last match with Cena in front of over 60k people?

I don't see TNA going that route. They will let Ric go (if he's still under contract, which isnt exactly clear).
The funny thing is if this was Vince and Eric Bischoff had done this shit on Nitro, he would definitely sue.

I doubt Vince has a big problem with 'renting' Flair from TNA for a while, assuming that Flair is exactly still under contract.

Your dead right on the second point. Back during the Monday Night Wars, Vince wouldn't have renting shit from Bischoff. They actually had hatred for each other and wanted to bury the other guy's company in their own blood.
Crazy enough, Vince's and Bischoff's hate for each other ended up fueling the business. Vince doesn't view TNA as a WCW-sized threat. I doubt he see it as a ECW (late 90's) level threat. I'd be surprised if Vince even acknowledges TNA.

Well fuck Bourne for fucking up Kofi's tag title reign

I said pages ago that they could have just replaced Bourne with Gabriel and kept it moving. Oh well maybe this will best for Kofi since they are lacking faces on Smackdown with Randy out & Bryan turning. Cody may end up on Raw in the draft so he could end up droping the IC title to Kofi at Mania.

We're assuming Flair is under contract with TNA and will be come April 1 and that's a big assumption. They might be doing the right thing by staying silent on it. Just saying nothing has people talking about them without bringing up the wasted talent or hot/cold booking.
Vince didn't acknowledge ECW so I know he doesn't see TNA as any kind of a threat. I bet the only way he knows AJ Styles is from AJ being one of the few guys who ever turned down a developmental deal.

Bourne's fuck up could save Kofi's career because he's been spinning his wheels for over a year. The only young face they have on SD is Sheamus so I see them doing something with Kofi too unless they finally decide to push Gabriel (damn, they hate Ted Dibiase).

No they don't but he got to be a lot closer to the real Punk Monday night at the end.

Lauranitis is still the Marty Jannetty of the Dynamic Dudes. He did well Monday though and I gotta figure this means that they have a plan for Foley.

I don't even know what happened to the "Sister of Doom" or "Divas of Destruction" or whatever the WWE decided to call them. I haven't seen Beth in weeks and Nattie is getting killed by Tamina weekly while they changed their mind on Katelyn. It was still dumb to not just let them destroy everybody for a little while and then have a face step up so that when one of them got beat it was a big deal and immediately gave that diva some credibility.

Another great example.
I see they've given Broadus Mike Knox' Flying Bear finisher.
I think he should use Bam Bam Bigelow's "Greetings From Asbur Park" over the shoulder piledriver. It's the safest piledriver but it looks good.

Doesn't the WWE still have the ban on piledrivers? The only people who really get away with it are Taker,Kane and HHH. That move does look really good at least it did when Bigelow did it.

I wonder what happened to Knox. I thought that at worst he might pop in ROH where a big man with an unique look who could go in the ring would be appreciated. And he could talk some.

Didn't know about Bobby. That makes me think there's a good chance they will find a way to induct them eventually, just without Cornette, who has said he doesn't want heat between him and the company to hold back the other guys.

To hear it described Eaton may have gotten screwed over by some politics but still they need to be in and quite frankly he should be helping train guys currently cause he was a hell of a worker.

Vince acknowledged ECW enough to put some their wrestlers on Raw, send wrestlers to ECW, jack their style and help finance them on the low.

I think that Flair is definitely going to be there and more than be on camera as well and part of the ceremonies. He should just take a job being an ambassador for the company like he had before and call it a day. I'm sure that he isn't making too much more working for TNA if at all.

Bourne's fuck up could save Kofi's career because he's been spinning his wheels for over a year. The only young face they have on SD is Sheamus so I see them doing something with Kofi too unless they finally decide to push Gabriel (damn, they hate Ted Dibiase).

Bourne should just quit that way he always has the chance to get back in and make a nice quick payday. The way he's going about it they'll never fuck with him again once he's gone.
