I wonder who Jericho beefs with with it seems like all the top guys being occupied? At first watching I was like WTF? Then I was like OHHHHH NICE. He played the shit out of the fans.
I actually think this was a solid Raw. Its the first one in awhile where i'm anticipating to see what happens next week.
But man what's up with Cena and Ryder's over the top reactions at the end of the show? That shit almost single handedly ruined this show.

Punk. The whole best in the world thing and he's taken shots at Punk via Twitter. They could build them up for Wrestlemania and get a great match out of it. Besides I could see Jericho tossing close to the same criticisms that dirtyd has at Punk.
Yea but Punk is beefing with Dolph. Unless they make this a triple threat match? Seems like him and Dolph have a good thing going right now. But what I could see is Jericho sort of joining into this feud from a distance and then when Punk beats Dolph at the Rumble then Punk and Jericho feuding exclusively.

So what's everybody general ideas for Jericho going forward?
It looks like they bringing him in as a heel which means he'll be feuding with a face at Mania, which at this point most likely will be Punk. While that match will probably be great, it's a damn shame that it looks like they like ending the Punk/Ziggler feud early. Ziggler may be shit on the mic but his in-ring work is good and him and Punk actually work well together. Not to mention that this will be the second time that Ziggler made it to the level where he was feuding with the champion, only to get buried and pushed out of the way for Mania. Hopefully they will bring MITB back to Mania and he can win that.
The other thing I noticed from Raw was how little the World championship means to the company. They're already setting up the WWE title match and the Cena/Rock match for Mania, but not one sign of what they're doing with the World Championship. And with Orton being out, they're probably going have to scramble something together at Royal Rumble and have the winner challenge for that title.
You think Dolph sucks on the mic? I mean he's nothing to write him about but when I think of guys bad on the mic I think of Randy Orton or Swagger.
I've seen reports that WWE is considering bring back MITB at Mania. If that happens then i'm sure Ziggler will win it. D Bryan is scheduled to defend the world title at an event in March so he won't be dropping the title anytime soon. Edge defended the title the start the show off last year. That right there shows you what they think of the title compared to the WWE title. Maybe Vince has something to do with that since he didn't create it.
You have to give Swagger a pass. I'm sure he fills bad after cutting a promo.
Jericho's return was great and the fact that some people are legit pissed at what happened proves the angle worked. He played the audience like sheep which was his whole rallying cry before he left.
You're right about that one. There are guys who actually suck the life out of the room whenever they're on the mic (like Del Rio or Orton) and I wouldn't quite put Ziggler on that level. He just isn't exciting on mic either. It's like I can watch one of his promo on fast forward and still feel like I caught the gist of what he was saying. I'll give him credit on the fact that he has been showing a lot of improvement on mic and his in ring great.

so when exactly does Broadis Clay suppose to debut ???? they said it was suppose to of happen last night but Jericho stole the show.....also can someone please just get Santino off of RAW and put him on Smackdown !!!! his fucking music sucks and the way he comes to the ring is dumb as fuck, he never wins any matches he just basically a jobber...they should a least have a jobber out there who can put on a decent match...and speaking of which when are we going to see Air Boom again ???? They never should've took the match off Mania but Vince was looking to earn a quick buck by making it a ppv. It backfired and made it lose some of it's luster so maybe that's why they're putting it back on Mania. Since Mania is the highest grossing ppv in sales/buyrates it would make more sense to have it there since more will see it.
That's another example of the Raw bullshit. They put up packages with Clay for weeks to build him up with no follow thru. They promised him one week,nothing. Said it would be the next week,nothing. And then pushed it all the way back to the first Raw of the new year and nothing yet again. They might as well just put him on Smackdown since Raw either can't or doesn't know how to use him. And Air Boom has been stuck on Superstars since Bourne came back. Not elevating the titles or the champs. If anything the champs have been devalued since we usually saw Kofi on Raw pretty consistently.
Just like Hell in a Cell all he did was devalue the match for a PPV people don't want to see. If they actually built up feuds knowing the HITC PPV was coming it that one could work but MITB just works better as the crazy, spotfest match of Wrestlemania.
It's not fair but Kofi is picking up Bourne's heat. Kofi is guilty be association for being Evan's partner. Plus WWE still aren't commited to pushing the tag titles. WWE could had thrown Mcintyre & Mason Ryan together as a tag team and started a feud between the two teams.
they actually made a appearance on smackdown last night...i wont spoil the details but it seems like Kofi is being dragged down by association w/ Evan Bourne....why they didnt take the titles off them b4 he did his 30-day vacation is beyond me

Probably because they don't have plans whatsoever to include the tag titles in Mania, so they just said, "fuck it, let them carrying them until after April."
If anything, they'll bring MITB back to Mania and both Bourne and Kofi can get in that match. I doubt either one of them will be allowed to win it at this point, but they''ll at least provide some great spots.

Do you know how disappointed I was when they didn't hold MitB at Mania this year, the first year I would be able to attend live? Until Taker-HHH, all I could do was think "they could have left this shit off and put on MitB" for more than half the show.
Poor Broadus. At this point, they should save him for the Rumble and let him dump out about 10 guys and get over as a monster. He's bound to feud with Cena by SummerSlam or Survivor Series at the latest.
Just saw the spoilers for SD and I think they're starting the Bryan heel turn.
We trash TNA and some of the stuff they do and they deserve it most of the time but they are working their asses off to be a worldwide company

Smackdown is going to be in my town this month. Daniel Bryan & Big Show are going to have a cage match for the title, a heel turn makes since. Other wise that just bad booking.

Last year was my 2nd straight Mania and I was disappointed especially with no MITB.Taker-HHH was good but it still wasn't up to what Taker and HBK did.And the lackluster main event was the icing on the cake.And the worst part was the worst my match at my first mania Bret Hart vs VInce McMahon was 3 times better than that shit with Michael Cole.
I'm okay with that though it is a bit early but Bryan will suck as the chickenshit heel that the WWE loves.He's best being intense so they need to take full advantage of the MMA aspect of his repertoire,pull out all of the submissions including the Cattle Mutilation and combine it with some of Edge's characteristics in that he's always taking advantage of a situation and being mentally a step ahead in a feud.

Yeah, that's where I was with it. I was glad to just be there for the weekend and be at the show but other than Cody-Rey and Punk-Orton (which I knew was going to end with a RKO so no mystery) nothing was worth being on a ppv other than HHH-Taker.
Hopefully, that's the way they book him. He's too small to be a badass heel and they already do the chickenshit gimmick with Christian and he's not half the talker Chris is.
I've been asking the same question. They put mor energy into a new show in India than making a B show for America. One they can distribute through syndication and promote local house shows. TNA wants to be a big company but don't want to go through the phases and steps to get there. They want to just jump into it.

- Recent online reports have suggested that WWE is interested in signing several talents from TNA once their contracts with the company expire. Courtesy of PWTorch, here is a breakdown of the rumored names and if WWE is interested:
* Rob Van Dam - WWE is interested in bringing him back.
* Matt Morgan - WWE was interested in Morgan last year but he chose to stick with TNA.
* Bully Ray - WWE has shown some interest in the former Tag Team Champion. No word yet if they're interested in bringing Ray back with Devon as Team 3D.
* The Pope - Officials were interested early last year when he was being pushed but not so much anymore.
* Samoa Joe - There is no interest from WWE.
* Ink Inc. - There may be some interest in bringing back Shannon Moore down the road but Jesse Neal is viewed as a developmental prospect at best.
* James Storm and Robert Roode - WWE had interest last year in bringing Beer Money in as a tag team but word is that they're not interested in bringing the former TNA Tag Team Champions in as singles wrestlers.

Most of these guys could contribute though I'm not sure about what RVD brings anymore. Joe doesn't fit their prototype. One thing makes no sense at all. They are interested in Beer Money but not Storm and Roode even though the WWE could give a fuck about tag team wrestling right now? Not buying that part.
