Vick is the ALL TIME LEADING RUSHER FOR THE QB POSITION
So? Fuck personal records. Superbowl! That's what it is about, how many coaches or former players do you see without a ring on the morning shows. Just a few. It is all about championships.

Vick is the ALL TIME LEADING RUSHER FOR THE QB POSITION
I think he's using his legs adequately....you cannot have the team they have and be a running QB. You have to many weapons that need the ball. If Vick ran as much as he did in his younger days the locker room would turn against him. Shady,Mccalin, and Djax would be constantly complaining to the media. That Mcnabb shit is bullshit as well. Maybe Mcnabb got tired of getting hit and thought it was best to stay in the pocket. As any mobile QB ages he tends to stay in the pocket more Young, Elway, Cunningham etc.... They all have been injured enough to know this. Vick and Mcnabb have been injured leaving the pocket so just maybe that has something to do with them staying in the pocket more. In ten years lets see if Tebow is still leaving the pocket as much as he does now.
So? Fuck personal records. Superbowl! That's what it is about, how many coaches or former players do you see without a ring on the morning shows. Just a few. It is all about championships.
A lot of you lack comprehension, and are blinded by the Tebow hate
He simply said Vick needs to be him. I think he's done like McNabb did and has tried to force himself to be a pocket QB to his detriment.
And that's exactly what Brown is saying Vick should do. Use his legs MORE not less
If he's doing it because he's injured that's understandable, but to do it just to prove
critics wrong is going to hurt his game and his team (same as Kobe)
It's a trick the cracker plays on us when they can't stop us, they try to get us to change our ways
Dwight Gooden great example. Dude was un-hittable at one point and all the "critics" could talk about was how he couldn't hold men on base
Dwight changes his pitching style and suddenly he's more effective holding men on base, but also ALOT more hittable as well. The rest is history
Understood, but you should understand that's it's JIM BROWN'S POV. He was a beast on the field until he got tired...Then he walked away and never looked back.
From his vantage point, he's probably advising Vick to beast for as long as he can, then walk away healthy and fuck starlets for the rest of his life
"I appreciate the talent of all the talented people, and everybody is different. … If you have 10 guys that have done something wonderful, why pick out one and say his was much greater than the others and try to diminish what the others have done? I don't think that's good. It's not healthy.
"I don't teach kids to be No. 1. Organizations and people that tell you you have to be No. 1; that's not it. You don't have to be No. 1. What I teach is to be as good as you can be. Use what you have and be as good as you can be. That's all you can do anyway (laughs)."
On elaborate TD celebrations and dances, such as the one the Bills' Stevie Johnson did, when he pretended to shoot himself in the leg (a la Plaxico Burress):
"It's an example of ignorance. Pure ignorance. There's no upside to it. It's self-serving ignorance. The bottom line is, any intelligent person realizes that until the game is over there's nothing to celebrate. ... And it means that you are not concentrating on winning, and then you can lose the game. Or, you can drop the ball, as [Johnson] did [later]. Now where's the celebration? So all of a sudden you can't hold the ball and now what do you want your teammates to do? Should they celebrate you dropping the ball? So like I said, there's no upside. It's ignorance, and I don't even know how players can stoop to being so ignorant that they can hurt their team after something that's been successful. That is as bad as it gets. To me there's no other side of the story. There's no two sides of this story. It's a terrible, terrible lack of intelligence."

when vick gets an offense designed for him with the running and passes then he'll do it, until then he has to do what he has to do. its not the same situation what shold have been said was andy reid should take notes from john fox.
vick does everything better than tebow, and if put in that offense would put up mega numbers
so like i said if you give him more designed runs, then he would run more, he's running the offense that's been given to him. not that he's afraid to run but the plan isnt to run its to pass and if it breaks down scramble
there's a big difference

Ahhhhhhh thank you, finally some who see's it as it should be seen. One is running a "high school" offense while the other is running a pass first offense with pass 1 option pass 2nd option pass 3rd option pass coach.
You have GOT to be joking... The coach isn't out there making people believe, making things happen to win games. You kidding me, Reid is a hell of better coach then Fox, and remember, even today, Fox and Elway still don't support Tebow, and yet that's the reason he has a mediocre team playing the way they are, compared to what Vick has done in Atlanta AND Philly? Vick is a million times better at almost everything Tebow can do, expect where it really counts, HEART, and LEADERSHIP... I watched him for years in ATL do great things, and stupid things. In Philly, he took two steps forward, and 4 back.. He just doesn't have the "it" factor to make men follow... That's where the two are very different.
Oh yeah vick 667 rushing yards in 11 games last year had he played all 16 he would have had a 1000 and maybe 4000 passing. This year he has 400+ yards in 8 games. SO yeah him using his legs more to be like Tebow is bullshit especially when Tebwos ARE DESIGNED RUNS.

Vick has always had the "he's not a pocket passer" tag labelled on him by so called experts (Media, announcers).
His entire career. And, in Jim Brown's eyes, he is trying to prove to THEM that he is one by staying in the pocket
All Brown is saying is that he should have never listened to them....and that Tebow damn sure ain't

You shouldn't have had to break that down. He made his point very clear.

I don't know what games Jim Brown is looking at but Mike Vick just returned to action on Sunday after being out 3 weeks. Maybe he was thinking of Vince Young.
Anyway, he's not taking into account that they run to completely different offensive philosophies.
yea. The title was misleading and you know niggas dont read. He basically is saying that Tim Tebow plays like Tim Tebow. Vick has been trying to become Tom Brady, and thats not his strength. He makes plays with his arm and his legs, he should stick to what works
What Jim Brown failed to mention is that Fox adapted his team to Tebow. If Tebow were being coached by Pat Shurmur in Cleveland, nobody would even be talking about him because Shurmur would have forced him to sit under center and pass. It would be a train wreck.
Most NFL coaches are stubborn and in most cases Tebow wouldn't get to play like Tebow. It isn't so much that Vick has to take notice, as do coaches around the league. Adapt to what you have. Stop being so fucking stubborn.
And I don't like Tebow either, but the hate on him is ridiculous.![]()
Now challenge yourself with the superbowl winners, lol. Damn BGOL, you stay cracking me up.
