The self-professed “Christians” clinging to their Bibles that say “King James Version” on the cover — ask them who King James was, and you get a blank stare. Tell them that King James was the British version of Rome’s Caligula and you get a bewildered scowl — these people are just stupid — they have surrendered their ‘free will’ to the propagandists.
Recently in Georgia the states residents voted against a 10 year sunset, 1% hike in the sales tax. The revenue raised by the extra 1% tax would have been used to build, repair & expand the burgeoning Atlanta highway system, which has some of the worst congestion in the U.S. as Atlanta’s population rapidly expands.<blockquote>the tax raise would significantly boost the quality of life in Georgia, which currently ranks 48th in the nation in transportation spending per capita, and fourth in total hours the average commuter spends on the road each day. Due to a massive propaganda campaign on Georgia’s right-wing talk radio (there is NO liberal talk radio in Georgia) and state wide rallies by tea bag groups funded by the Koch brothers and other outside groups; the 1% temporary sales tax increase was soundly defeated. No expanded mass transit and highway expansion; spend three to five hours in your car to go 60 miles. Propaganda won.
