Many people called the "Isle of Capri" the "Pile of Debris". Golden Nugget bought the whole thing for $45M and IMO they got ripped off. I was just in Biloxi at the Pile three weeks ago and not a damn this has changed since this article from MARCH 2012.

In contrast, the Revel Casino that opened a few months ago in Atlantic City cost 2.4 BILLION

The $45M cost for that dump is less than half the price of this $100M NYC apartment

They should have just TORN THAT RATHOLE DUMP DOWN and built a new casino from scratch. Now the "new" Golden Nugget will forever have the stench of the "old" Pile.

I've stayed there before when I got a cheap deal online for one night. Never again...the buffet was absurd! Golden Corrall was better!!! I would go back for the Morton's though...

Biloxi needs to do something to get the tourism up...the hits just keep coming:

hurricanes and oil spills

The resort pool is interesting...seems they are angling for families...
