Hurricane Hermine left 80 percent of the city without power. And if the heat and humidity weren’t enough, residents will soon have to rummage through the refrigerator to determine what food is still edible.

A closed refrigerator will keep food cold for about four hours, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. A closed door can keep a full freezer’s temperature for 48 hours and a half-full freezer’s temperature for 24 hours. The USDA says people should not taste food to determine if it is safe.

Sorry Guys, it seems as though the folks from Black Food Channel are stalking you guys about an apparent trademark infringement. I've emailed them. I've called them. I've tweeted them back to ask them to stop harassing us. They repeatedly keep acting a complete ass. Let's get the facts straight:

*We never STOLE anyone's idea.
*Stealing a Black Food Channel idea is like ABC stealing the idea from CBS.
*Unlike them, we have consistently been building our brand.
*We also have done something they haven't. We have legally protected our intellectual property.
*Below is the trademark from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Who's the applicant and owner of the term "Black Food Network?" I am, Darius Williams with my business address.

Division was never on the table when we set out to create Black Food Network (BlkFoodNetwork.com). In fact, out goal was quite the opposite. We realize our videos, good news, our tutorials, and our talent are beyond incredible. This is because we realized that we wanted to create the change we wanted to see. Our goals were to do that in compete excellence. It seems we are completely succeeding. My apologies to our followers and supporters for the behavior of our small competition. I hope they get their act together and handle this properly. If anyone has any questions, my email is darius@dariuscooks.com!

Obviously you wouldn't be able to trademark it if they already had...I'm just waiting on my cinna treats!

In my eyes, you have nothing to explain to them. If they think they have a legal foot to stand on, their attorney would be in contact, not just any body. I say...f them!
You done everything legal, nothing left unturned. Let them figure it out, you're good.

It's sad that they plot a slanderous campaign to destroy another black business but they didn't take any initiative to jump start their own plans...that's the problem with people always wanting to look good without putting in the work to actually
be the best...

If they were focused on their brand as much as their focused on yours maybe they would have actually been a known name.
