A fan favorite. The way he demolished the late Kronk fighter Dujuan Johnson is textbook how you break a fighter down while making adjustments on the fly. Johnson was hitting Pryor with some hit seeking missles. Pryor ate all them shits.

He literally scared Sugar Ray Leonard he was afraid to fight him. He was non-stop punching from first round until he knocked you the fuck out of the last round. I was happy to have seen him

From my hometown.
We had the same barber.
Mr. Gene, downtown across from Taft High School, on Central Street next to the old State Cinema.
He was the most under appreciated champion ever.
Never ever ran from a fighter.
Tough as old folks toenails.
Dude was on top of the world then drugs took over. Got himself clean up and became a better person. Him and Arguello became great friends after their fights.
The Hawk will surely be missed
RIP.

Dang, RIP to the Cincinnati Hawk. Dude was a nonstop punching machine. You would be foolish to stand toe to toe with him!

R.I.P to Aaron Pryor, one of the best fighter in a great era of Boxing.

One of the greatest fights I ever saw was Pryor vs Alexis Arguello, I was watching the fight with the fellas, I don't think it was an official fight party, just a group of brother who loved boxing. In real time that was one intense fight.

60 sure is young, may he Rest in Peace
