Searching google, seems you gotta buy stuff from amazon and leave a review on everything and the more quality the review the more likely amazon will invite you to join the program.

signup, link amazon account, request products (some free, some discounted), get chosen (more likely if you already buy alot from Amazon and/or you leave detailed reviews with pics or video), get product, leave a review on Amazon (don't forget to say you got the product free or at a discount for an honest review), repeat.

Factors that characterize a good review determine how often you are chosen and whether you would get access to the best discounts (how many words used in your review, are there pics or video, do you come off as honest/trustworthy, do you have real relative knowledge of the product)...rise amongst the tier system and get the better products for free.
