I saw it. Though it was funny and tied in why he and the Hulk were not in the last Avengers.

Thought the could have done better with the Planet Hulk storyline though.

That first Thor was pretty fucking boring, same for the first Captain America. I almost didn't finish either film. I powered through it. Captain America Winter Soldier was a strong second film that made me forget how bad the first one was. Thor 2, not so much. I still didn't finish it.

Thor Ragnarok... I fucking loved it. I might go see it this week for the second time (thanks Movie Pass). Thor Ragnarok was like Captain America Winter Soldier. Great story and cast.

they could REALLY build the universe

and do like DC TV does and use B-List characters.

O r just make the muscles and veins

like maybe Tony Stark father or Banner helped develop the tools used to create the Red Room for Russia.

both Thor movies weren't HORRIBLE..

1st one was a decent introduction...

2nd one they just got lost in the story

and Loki STOLE that movie

they never REALLY developed Thor as an independent character

from all reports Ragnarok did EXACTLY that.

Matter of Opinion man! I loved the 1st Thor and Captain America movies...Thor 2 easily is my least favorite Marvel Movie and Captain America:WS is my favorite..Easily in my top 5 CBM of all time.

I'm surprised at the OP title. Specifically, being surprised at the $$$ for this Thor movie? Why? The reviews came out for the movie like 2 weeks in advance and it has a really high RT score.....so why the surprise?

What I'm really curious about is how BP is going to perform....We know how folks feel about it here. But how do people outside of BGOL feel about the upcoming Black Panther movie?

True. Only big names in it should be Cap and Fury...maybe Stark if he wanted to give her some weaponry.

Salt was pretty good. Atomic blonde was complete fucking trash. I walked out of that movie and went to go see Detroit instead... which completely pissed me off with police but hey, it was better than Atomic blonde

Salt was ridiculous! I hate those concepts where the one agent is so good that they can outsmart the entire agency with all its vast resource on domestic soil and the other agents too. Moreover, when her first stop was to go home when she was being chased by the agency and they didn't consider that possible move. I turned the fucking movie off and never bothered to watch the rest...

all they have to do is winter soldier that shit...ws still the best damn marvel movie... make another version with widow.. aggressive fight scenes, tech, shootouts, mystery..spy movie..if they could get a raid redemption style fight scenes juss with less blood 4get about it

120 is a lot for more successful & established franchises much less thor...

Considering the great reviews and nothing else is out at the moment. I expected something north of $100 mill. Honestly, IMO what would be surprising is if these CBM don't make at least $100M minimum opening weekend.

I would also add that CBM have spoiled us when it comes to opening weekend. A great number use to be between $40-$70M now if you "only" make between $71-$95M....lol the movies is borderline received as having a successful opening weekend...Craziness!
