You guys see why he starting to pull ahead of Ted Cruz

I'm going by Polls and history.....What are you going by when you say he has a movement?

To be fair ...

polls showed Trump had no path months before the election...

Everything out the window now...

A republican sponsored Poll is showing that’s Phil Bredeson is ahead of Marsha Blackburn in fucking East Tennessee.... I cant remember a Democrat polling a head of a Republican in east tennnessee in my entire life.

thanks for showing you can't read a poll...
did you bother to even look at the margin of error (+/-3.8) consider that vs polling average of +4.5 for Cruz
or how to read the trend line of the last 3 months? Beto has consistently gained points over the last 8 weeks - while Cruz' lead is consistently bleeding out

Bet you didn't compare Cruz' numbers to other state wide GOP numbers... while Trump approval numbers in TX is mirroring Cruz' - look at the governor's race where GOP has +19 points up on Dems

so - yes- Beto does have a real movement in Texas - doesn't mean he is going to win - it just means he is currently exceeding expectations

Even if he loses, he is making the Republicans spend big money and time on Texas instead of other states. Money and time they never dreamt they would have to spend there.

cruz made his money, he dont wanna win. If he did he can, them texas crackas are dumbbb

Ted Cruz is a pussy.
Trump publicly called this man's wife ugly.
Trump publicly said this man's dad killed Kennedy.
What type of Texas white man allows another man to disrespect your wife and father? Damn near every western movie ever was about avenging your wife or dad. Cruz bitch ass was making phone calls for Trump after he said that shit.

I’m going by his campaigning where thousands of people coming to see him and his town halls packed along with all the Beto signs in peoples yards..

Means nothing. Especially here in Texas. The people that need to vote the most will not. I asked a group my over 18 employees if they were voting this year and all of them were like, "there's voting this year?"....

Holy fucking shit ...

This is really on Ted Cruz twitter account.. I thought dude was hacked.

I’ve never seen anything like this. What the shit....

I’ve got no words

The republican party.. the same party that attacked John McCain for having a "black" child (he adopted a kid from India). The same party that played on the white man's fear of black men taking their women with attack ads against former Congressman Harold Ford.

I've been getting texts for his campaign for about a year in a half, around Houston you see folks with his signs in their yards and the bumper stickers, he does seem to have a movement going upwards.

I agree there is a movement. My wife has voted maybe once in her life, and she’s geeked. Her brother has probably never voted, and he’s geeked. People like that aren’t showing up in the polls, but they will be showing up at the polls.

I was a college intern for the last Democrat U.S. Senator from Texas, Sen. Lloyd Bentsen. Since then I have never seen anything like this. I have NEVER seen “Republicans for Beto” type shit like I am seeing now.

I too doubted there was any way a Democrat could win in Texas but my wife has changed my mind.

Cruz posted it because he knows that any words spoken that may in any way hold police accountable for their actions rile up his base because his base places police officer higher than God. He also knows that a video showing Black people excited for Beto will also rile up his base. He is a brilliant politician and intellectual and knows exactly what he is doing. He doesn’t give a shit what you get out of that video, because he knows his base will see something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Basically he is telling his base to hear what this ****** lover has to say about police....in his own words.

Inside the cities Beto will do well. Outside the cities he doesnt have a chance. I plan on voting for him but this is Texas, I'm not fooling myself. Beto would do better on the national stage, running for President

Fuck you mannnn!!!! I've been telling my wife the exact same thing for months, but just last week her uncommmon enthusiasm made me a believer.

Yes...for a fleeting moment I forgot that I had been following politics my whole life and she barely started a little, kind of , following about two months ago........Yes....I Truly Believed......and them comes YOU!!!! Dreamsnatcher.......Suddenly my vinyl recording of John Coletrane's "A Love Supreme" on my brand new record player is being felt with a whole different mood...

Sigh, where's my receipt...I'm taking this shit back

Live by the Dog Whistle Die by the Dog Whistle. He is playing a dangerous game. There is more "COLOR" in Texas than SaltineNation would have you believe. If Beto wins maybe it will send a sign to the Retardicans to retire Nixon's "Southern Strategy". Everything runs its course.

That's true, but they can't to do it alone. In this climate many of them would never tell you, but they respond to that dog whistle. Making them aware of their white privilege has also made them aware of the consequences of losing it....so even though they are the 'cool' ones, when they close that door.......they vote for the tribe.

No doubt but let’s look at the Parallels, Obama had that same movement when he was running for Pres even before he became the Nominee... I think this dude is going to shook the political landscape in November if he beats Cruz and it’s looking like he prob will.. Dems outnumber Repubs... the cities will bring it home..

What I said is I go by polling and history....RCP has Cruz up by 4.5....polls...Texas hasn't elected a Democrat in 20+ years....history.....

You typed a bunch of nothing and you're in your feelings....sleep it off.
whats the margin of error?

Beto O’Rourke leads Ted Cruz by 2 among likely voters in U.S. Senate race, new poll finds

U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-El Paso, leads Republican incumbent Ted Cruz by 2 percentage points among likely voters, according to an Ipsos online poll released Wednesday in conjunction with Reuters and the University of Virginia. O’Rourke has been closing the gap over the last several months, but this is the first poll that puts him ahead of Cruz.

Forty-seven percent of likely voters told Reuters they would vote for O'Rourke, while 45 percent said they would cast their ballot for Cruz. Three percent said they would vote for "Other," and 5 percent said "None." The margin of error on that portion of the poll was 3.5 percentage points.

Man I'm pulling for Beto. Just nothing in this state is telling me he has a chance. The cities never outnumber the towns though. Texas is huge as fuck...and these racists will cheat to win.
