Ye has officially GAP that he is terminating his partnership with the apparel them. It seems it time to move on from what could been a gret relationship but things just aren’t working behind the scenes. So it’s time for Ye to cut ties with the corporation.

Back in 2020 ion the “West day ever” Ye announced a partnership to develop a collection under the Yeezy Gap brand. It’s well known by now that he has complains on social media about how he wasn’t involved in things he should of been, along with GAP releasing clothing with the same cut as the YGEBB.
On Thursday Ye’s lawyers sent a letter to GAP letting them know that YEEZY LLC, is terminating the arrangements, Gap breached their agreement by not releasing apparel and opening retail stores as planned.
It looks like what has been made already, GAP will still be able to sell through the items, and the letter also stated this won’t affect the items that were made from the YGEBB collection. Just like his problems with adidas, the big corporation hasn’t moved forward in their own product lines and seeing what Ye makes sells out with even higher retail prices. Now you see items with the same cut and go the exact same as they did for YGEBB. While GAP has also tried to cut Ye Out of the creative process, in a recent video of Ye talking to GAP executives he stated. “You have to really give me the position to be Ye and let me do what I’m thinking, or I have to do the thinking somewhere else.”
As Ye as said in recent interviews “It time to go it alone”. With the recent trademarks he has applied for we could be seeing YEEZY stores worldwide sooner rather than later. A new collection under the YZY GAP banner is scheduled for this fall and holiday. This collection will all be under $100, a big difference from the recent YZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA collection.
