Notre Dame won?? FUCK!!!! I despise all things associated with Notre Dame and the Boston Celtics.

probably the greatest final 4 performance, male or female, of all time

she slayed the dragon friday night
and then the buzzer beater for the chip
it doesnt get any better than that

i dunno...

UConn 2010-11

Kemba Walker and the 2010-11 UConn national championship team will go down as having one of the most improbable title runs in NCAA history. After finishing ninth in the Big East conference, the Huskies went on to win 11 straight postseason games and claim the title. Walker was the heart and soul of that team, leading them both on and off the court.

He definitely had the greater run for team as a whole.
You know how it is, people only remember the latest.
With that said, she did hit two of the biggest shots in NCAA history.

So Kemba’s run from the NIT to the NCAA chip wasn’t legendary? It would have been a wrap if they lost 1 game
I never said it wasn't legendary but that isn't the argument. The argument was that it compared to what this chick did this weekend and it doesn't. Nah man

UConn's situation wasn't that dire. They were ranked in the top 20 of almost every poll just before that 11 game run

"After finishing ninth in the Big East conference, the Huskies went on to win 11 straight postseason games and claim the title."

NOBODY was expecting them to do anything that year.
I guess you had to be there...

yes, she had 2 BIG shots in the final 4 to win the final 4, but is it the journey or the destination; or BOTH that makes greatness?
UConn women were undefeated last year & this year going in to the final 4, but got done in by buzzer-beater shots.
-so much for the journey...

Nodody expected them to win the 'ship but BDR said they were an NIT team. That was far from the truth. My team was in the Big East that year and they got 11 teams in the tourney, including one that had 15 losses.

UConn had 9 losses total, but they didn't lose to anyone they played outside of the Big East.

And if you read up, the original argument was "probably the greatest final 4 performance, male or female, of all time". One could argue the final 4 were Kemba's worst 2 statistical performances out of that run
