Don't most of those West Indians live in Brooklyn? Black Americans live in Harlem and Brooklyn.
there's a big west indian community in the bx also.. west indians are in every borough..queens got a lot to..black americans as u like to call us live in every borough also

They are now. They used to be better. I used to hit a spot on Utica in Flatbush that had great patties, as well as this spot on Nostrand. also, there used to be a spot in Bed Stuy called Apache that had good ones. I hate that they closed, because their escovitch snapper was off the charts!!!

Golden Krust patties are overrated as fuck. I'll take the local mom & pop Jamaican bakeries over any Golden Krust all day every day. BTW the best patty & coco bread in the BX are at Kingston Bakery on White Plains Rd & Jackie's Bakery on 233rd St & Baychester Ave.

My mans took me to a spot around that way & that beef patty was THE TRUTH! I think it's one of those spots you mentioned.
