I use to come from the good cop bad cop philosophy but the longer I live I realize that their all just cops.

A cop might be nicer than the bad cop as he infringes on your rights, but their intentions are the same.

It’s kinda like asking a victim of a sex crime if the suspect was respectful as if it matters.
