Dammit, it's Detroit. I gotta, I know, I know. But if you don't support the bullshyt, it won't make folks want to write stories about/shoot movies in Detroit.

Something you won't here in this thread

"I'm tired of all these white gangster/mobster movies, all they do is show cacs as drug dealers, killers, pimps, mobsters, corrupted bizzness men, evil politicians... Where are the positive sci fi movies, why can't it be a white family where everybody got degrees, nobody is a criminal and everything is perfect, enough with these white gangster movies"

I'm from the "D", the eastside to be exact. I knew all those dudes personally.

Rick was a scary ass yt, who had the Curry Brothers juice behind him.

Art Derrick's story is far better and more interesting if we talking drug dealing ytes.

I believe michigan had the "650 law". More than 650 grams of coke is automatic life.

Before then dudes get caught with kilos of coke and heroin and be out on bail and beat the case. Especialy if they had Culpepper, Pitts, Fishman or Buffaleno as lawyers.

Richard Wershe Jr.

Not interested in 'White Boy Ricky'....

Just like I wasn't interested in this...

I've personally seen enough 'come up' hood drama's. Seen and experienced through my extended family.

One first cousin- managerial- brains blown out on his front lawn.

The other first cousin- muscle- retaliated and is doing offensive linemen jersey numbers in a max.

Both brothers. Same mother different fathers who both were my uncles.

So yeah, I'M GOOD.... Bring me more 'Black Panthers'

*two cents*

More Black panther? A dysfunctional family where selfish agendas alienated the needy and suffering in order for their own survival comes to bite them in the ass and carnage and wrath soon follows... Civil wars, death, backstabbing, family skeletons revealed.. Where in the end the people you thought were innocent were really pieces of shit and the villain you was rooting against eventually became the person you root for? That black panther?

Look...

I'm not going to get into a logic/rational debate about something that I clearly have an emotional anchor to...

Drugs- via the game and/or usage- WRECKED one side of my family.

So I'm willing to go with the 'Drugs Bad' angle and leave it at that.

And even in that I'm conflicted cause I LOVED 'cocaine rap'. Imagine that.

In short, I've had my fill of blow stories.

Had my fill of going to gram's house every other summer as a kid only to find out I might not be able to come back because shit is to hot right now and me and my sister need not be part of that.

Because me and her are supposed to be the one's that 'make it'. "Make it!?! What about everybody else?!?!"

So bring on the dysfunctional royal family of Zamunda' in cat suits. Change of scenery and what not.

I already know about the 'Road to the nose'.

Fuck who doesn't at this point?
