Which NFL Draft Special did you watch? NFL Network or ESPN?

In years past I would have watched ESPN. I always have since the first draft I watched with Steve Emtman & Quintin Coryatt. But lately I have been backing off of ESPN. I hate the fact that sports on almost every channel has become Sports E!, especially on ESPN. I stopped watching NFL pre-game shows 2 years ago (3 if you count the year I was deployed in Kuwait). The addition of untalented former star Emmitt Smith (which makes even the people who hated Irvin wish he was back) may actually be worse than when Jim Kelly and Kevin Greene were added in the 90's. Except for PTI (which I am not even watching as much as I used to), I rarely turn to channel 206 (for the Directv family).

So when it came to the draft this year the decision was simple, channel 212...NFL Network. Boomer aka Chris Berman has become mundane and simply uninteresting. Mel Kiper Jr is not even as good as Corey Chavious, who will be a GM or top scout someday. Mike Mayock, Charles Davis are interesting, and I always loved the energy that Rich Eisen brought even when he was on ESPN. I never turned to ESPN once during the entire draft, and I watched the whole thing.

I was more of a fan of Olbermann than Eisen but MSNBC needs that dude.

As far as the draft I watched ESPN because I don't have the comcast sports package. NFLN should be better because they are exclusive to the league and like you said ESPN is too worried about trying to become Sports E! (I like that analogy).

Before comcast split up the packages I watched NFLN exclusively for info on the league and ESPN for other shit.

I still like Boomer but ESPN has made some questionable decisions on personnel that makes me look at the network different as a whole.

I watched the NFLN. I like Marshall Faulk, Eisen, Deion and the crew. Even though McShay and Mel Kiper was interesting because they seems to not like each other, I can't stand Keyshawn Johnson outside of a football uniform. I like Marcellus Wiley, I think he's a well spoken and knowledgable member of the crew.
