I bought this from Wal-Mart and it is just the movie. Just the movie. no bonus features. No nothing. The movie. That's it. I bought it at walmart and I am taking it back. I'll wait for the one with the bonus features. Great movie, but I can't pay for a bare bones version when I have a decent quality version on my PS3. It ain't blu-ray, but if I wanna watch the movie I can.

when ahead and got this one too.

There will be releasing the 3d Blu Ray version in 2011. So that will likely have the extra features when they are trying to move these 3D televisions and 3D blu ray players.

There will be more editions of "AVATAR" coming down the line this year.

What gets me is that there have been 3D DVD releases in the last few years already. The popular one being "CORALINE", which is still selling. Comes with tthe glassed and everything for current TVs.

So I don't see why FOX and the DVD divison didn't take advantage of this.

Because Avatar was different type of 3D than movies like Coraline. You need a new Blu-Ray player, and TV. Polarized 3D is very new for the home.

Anyway copped the bluray+dvd combo from Walmart for $20...even tho the DVD is totally obsolete and will not get used...Bestbuy/Blockbuster had the combo for $30...and no place else is selling just the bluray by itself...this cat @ work convinced me to cop it...said the 3D experience was decent but it doesn't really add/detract from the movie...will watch it this weekend...
