Spare the rod bullshit. I had get teach myself not to react to everything my son does with a swat or threat to spank. I grew up getting whooping and I don’t haven’t any negative memory or trauma. My parents were great, but we got way too many resource and knowledge at our disposable to be beating kids as a go to. Lessons and discipline can be learn in a lot of different ways. Ironically it’s us as parents that need the lessons.
