Yeah I had high hopes for Wentworth from reading about it here, I feel the same way though bro. I liked season 2 and 3 of lilyhammer better than the first. I have to watch bloodline and top boy to, any input ?

1st 2 seasons of lilyhammer was cool...tried watching the 3rd and it just didn't hold me...same thing w/ orange is the new black...wentworth was a letdown

after SOA and breaking bad concluded I swore I wouldn't watch another network TV or non-premium cable series again...I just hate the pacing/stretching out of storylines...I've heard a lot of good things about fargo tho...might check it out

Believe it or not, this is the type of tragic drama centered around a black cast I've been screaming about on this board.

Excellent acting, writing, great representation of alpha males, deals with racial issues in an intelligent manner, it's the anti Empire.

How Bob Johnson and his wife never developed original shows like this when he owned BET boggles the mind.

They need to create a show like this centered around a black man.

^^^ yep - I first posted about this when the pilot dropped - excellent writing/acting/cinematography

they still drop a couple of the nonsense agendas in there but overall the Akil's created the vanguard of Black television with this show - agree that it would be excellent to have it focus on a Black man, however we are living in the age of female dominated media so it is what it is...
