What unpopular opinions do you have?

Black Women stole the baby hair look from Latina Women.

Bullshit

Places where latinos are few and far between featured Black women styling their baby hair. I've been seeing the look since at least the late 80s, and I have photographs of family members styling it in the 70s, and the style itself is probably rooted in Josephine Baker's styles going back to the 20s.

Ghostbusters song is NOT BETeTER than I Want New Drug

I never made the connection during that era.
It wasn't until it was pointed out to me years ago, that I was like
Damn that is a rip Off :eek2:
There's a reason for that tho.... The film makers used the huey lewis song as a placeholder in the rough cut of the film because they liked the energy of the song. So when it came time for the soundtrack they sent the rough cut with IWND on it to Ray Parker Jr and said we want a song that's like that and you have two weeks... So he used the the basic groove of the song as a basis for the ghost buster theme..then they tried to play it off... Huey lewis caught it and sued and got a settlement then he got sued for copying the groove on pop muzik to make IWND

Yup I think he mentions this in the video.

They specifically told Ray to mimic the song.

Here's LaToya Jackson, any pictures of Angela Bofill or Irena Cara with this look in the 1970s?

If you're a single man with no kids, dating a woman that already has kids isn't a great idea. I was dead against it when I was young, hit my 30's and said you know what... she only has one. Aside from that, she seems to have her shit together so why not? Then, I quickly learned why not. There's just so many ways the shit can go wrong, but for me it went wrong with the baby daddy. Dude had never shown any interest in his kid, whether it was spending time or financial support. But as soooooooooon as he realized that she was fuckin someone else, all of a sudden he wanted to see his son.

I don't do drama or bullshit, have lived my life avoiding ignorant situations. But, having grown up in Bham, you know in those situations you'd be better off with the iron on you just in case. Dude decided he wanted to show up one day on some ignorant shit. I'm quiet and to myself, but, back me into a corner and I'll flame your ass real quick like. I decided it was better to just call the law and let them deal with it so that's exactly what I did. Otherwise, you'd have likely seen me on one of those bodycam videos on youtube after I just laid someone's baby daddy out on their front lawn.

Only way I'll ever do it again is if the kid is already grown and gone. Bessemer Alabama folks don't have much sense so I shouldn't have had my ass out there to begin with. She was fine though, that's what sucked me in.
