What Black owned businesses do you have trouble finding?

What black owned businesses do you think there should be more of, especially when looking at consumer products and goods. Are there black owned businesses that you think we have too many of?

Construction and landscaping. They are full of shit.
Specifically picked out a brotha I saw at Home Depot when I saw he had landscaping equipment in his truck. Asked him what his cost was. I’m in Texas do so finding a Mexican to do landscaping and will take care of business for the low is nothing. His price was higher than the rest and I also tipped him. Dude came out a couple times and then just ghosted. No explanation. I guess niggas don’t need money no more. :dunno:

in atl for 15 years

just had my 26th black yard man quit with zero notice

"this gonna be my last cut"

all of them gave me one decent cut to get the yard then it was downhill from there

only actually fired one of them

i have my yard and the one next door
(was posed to be a street to connect the subdivisions but the city has changed a few times since i moved here and it has remained vacant)

i been paying extra and supporting my own but enough is enough

hired a mexican who came by with a card

i texted and he showed up in 2 hours and did the first excellent cut my yard has seen since i been here

for less

I don't think I've come across any black owned PC repair, phone repair, TV repair, etc at all.

I called 7 black owned companies for landscaping. One returned my call once but never came out and didn't return my calls after that.

The first construction company, came out and took measurements. Weeks turned into months and I never got an estimate from him. He kept claiming he was working on someone's kitchen but they kept adding stuff. A total of 4 months passed then out the blue I got a call from a dude who told me he got my number from the first contractor. Second contractor came out and gave me a ridiculous price. Plus he supposedly lived close to my house but every time he said he was coming over and would be there in 20mins, he showed up hours later.

Shit is crazy.

We have too many black owned hair shops and bbq/soul food shops.

No enough Black owned tech companies, supermarkets, and banks.
Banks ain't going to happen like that. They ain't about to let us create money out of thin air like they do and decide who gets empowered. And if you see some start to pop up, watch the 'silent' partners of any black owned bank. All it takes is a 51 percent front to get a black-owned label. That's a business by itself. :smh:

And we need Black people that will actually come to places likes these repeatedly and be willing to PAY for the services.

Although it might have been mentioned, I want the basics to be taken care of first:

-Grocery stores with access to locally grown organic fruits and vegetables
-Black Farmer's markets
-More food trucks ( in order to reach places with poor transportation or limited food access).

Then:
-Auto repair shops (I only see latinos/asians actually owning the shop).
-Laundromats in areas that need them
- Privately owned transportation companies (so we aren't solely relying on public trans)
- ALL THE TRADES OF ANY KIND

Once we have a way of feeding ourselves and a way of maintaining our own infrustructure we can move on to other things like entertainment (clubs, movies, sit down restaurants).
We have to feed ourselves first!!!

those are the most difficult because you have to get land and farms first. then if you have a store you have to fill it, with more than fruits and vegetables so you have to establish all of that supply chain first. I see transportation companies though, and its a lot of smaller truck companies.
