On another note i don't think this is only a race issue. It's also a culture, class, and gender issue as well.

Culture-Lets talk about how it affects the black community. For example, most(not all) African Americans believe they are better than West Indians/Africans or most West Indians/Africans come from "dump" and have never seen a TV or a damn radio in their life and they are all people from the jungle. They also will never take them serious(they will for about a few seconds) but as soon as they hear the accent it's a wrap. Now this is not subject to all African Americans cause believe me i have had my share of different women(Only black) and my best experience was with a black female who was not of West Indian culture, her family was from South Carolina(I think) and i do believe i will marry a black woman( American) anyway the worst was with a Haitian female so go figure.


Class- I know a lot of black people who grew up around white people and believe that because they live in a white suburb they are better than those who don't(thats unless people in the hood are not trying to make their situation better of course that would be a different issue ) I know a few black people from high school/college that hang around white kids because they choose to and not because thats the only people who they could find to hang out with and as soon as they see another black person moving in and being friends with the other white kids it's a problem. It's as if they want the white friends to themselves to say oh...i'm like the only black friend they have and they will hook me up with a job so i like to keep it that way.


Gender-On a daily basis women are challenge in the work place and at school academically and strength wise. I know from past experience because whenever i walk into a place and hear a woman talk i just assume she has no idea what the fuck she is talking about because 1)her voice and 2) her body language. It's just recent that i have changed my attitude and started to take women serious. I'm still working on taking what white women say serious also.
