I most def love going to Vermont in the fall.

Get that real fall season feeling. Chill at Champlain Lake.

Never had nothing bad happen but yeah not alot of black residents put there. The black peeps you run into are just the students from out of state.

I still recommend it to everyone.

I been to a lot of those spots mentioned I really enjoyed Montana, Idaho and Utah.

But more on the:
1. nature tip
2. relaxed gun laws
3. wide open spaces
4. affordable cost of living

Did really get to social. Justin for business and took in some nature.

I have seriously considered relocating to Montana or Michigan.

I was stationed at Grand Forks AFB, in North Dakota...

At our incoming orientation, we were told there were 1,000 blacks in the area... 900 were on the base...

Yep, they didn't see a lot of black folk up there. When we went downtown to the mall, we had a lot of stares from the locals.

Overall, thats the reason I decided to finish my enlistment. That was the fastest way for me to get out of there...

Too damn cold during the winter. 80 below zero wind chill ain't no joke...White boys would ride snowmobiles to work... so damned cold, if you didn't dress appropriately for the weather, you would get frostbite...

brrrr...... just thinkin about it..

as far as racism, no different than any other place where you don't routinely see people of a different race
:roflmao:

My cousin played football at Iowa state University, he told me as an incoming freshman there were white students who had never seen a black person in real life before, said them cacs was asking him all kinds of crazy shit.

never been to MN, but i lived in seattle for a short spell.

and you're 100% correct. the white and asian women were VERY aggressive & flirtatious.

 yes, Max got a lot of pussy. :D
Yep Seattle is the shit. My aunt and cousins moved there. I was stationed at Whidbey Island for a few months and use to go see them. Bad women everywhere, mix, blazian, pawgs. It was crazy. Especially when they find out you're not from there.

Vermont, New Hampshire, Wyoming, Montana, The Dakotas, Idaho, Maine, etc. aren't known for having a lot of black people there. I was curious to know if any BGOL members live or lived in any of those states?

But somehow those states remind red despite having destroyed black people's economic and educational futures.

Amazing.

I also have to say its eye opener knowing that the City of Los Angeles/County has more people top 5 listed populations, but do not have adequate representation in presidential elections and Senate/Congressional seats

Guess is possible but it's black folks in Iowa....Davenport is a damn hood...

And Iowa state has had black students and athletes for decades. ...not to mention the western border borders.Omaha Nebraska. .

I think mofokrs just tell stories to sone of you cats that aint never been nowhere knowing you'll believe it

Im pretty sure there are remote areas in those parts of the US where an in coming cac freshmen in college who has never been anywhere but their hometown, have never been around black folks.

Ive had no reason or any desire to want to visit Iowa yet in my life so it dont bother me one way or the other.

That's probably true of every state in the country. ..

I passed through iowa driving elsewhere and actually spent the night once when my son played for their DLEAGUE team

I've been to most of those states, hell i was stationed in Alaska (my best assignment). There is actually a "Ghetto" in Anchorage. I goto Bedford Mass alot for work and i goto New Hampshire, i uswd to work with a Brutha at another company that live in NH but work in Bedford Ma. Vermont is kool. Pale azz white poeple there doe. Lol

Just too white...not to mention all the stares. Plus I'm not fond of cowboys and I saw way too many. Fuckin CAC counterfit checked my 20 dollar bill...AT WALGREENS of all places

I enjoy my drives to and from the airport in Denver though
Even when most of the crimes are committed by white folks they still racial profiling.

Just cut the shit. Black population of Iowa is 3 percent. Does that sound like a large percentage? National average is 14 percent, so 3 percent is waaaay below average. Folks just want to argue to argue sometimes.

Des Moines is 11% and Davenport is 10% so who trying to argue?

Outside of the major cities, what is the black population of any state ?

In comparison, there is no section of Wyoming, Idaho, Montana that have more than 3 %

and the post your silly ass is arguing has to do with places that have major D1 colleges which all have black athletes today.

Great repost. Just recently on this board, so many were denying the population distribution of black folk in this country. Inherently, black folk tend to gather in major metropolitan areas. Conversely, there are so many areas of this country were black folk sightings are rare.

I've been to New Mexico and Washington State. Those were the two whitest states I've ever been to. I was on an Army base in WA so I really didn't get to see much but from what a lot of black women were telling me, they had a hard time getting dudes up there because the WW were catering to black men hard!
New Mexico was interesting. I was in the Santa Fe area and that was the first time being in elevated desert. Got winded walking around and thought I was tripping. Anyways, I was at one of the big casinos there and was one of the only black people in the whole place. I spotted another brotha who was a dark skinned man and he immediately smiled and came over and greeted me like he was glad I was there. While I was there the black population probably jumped in percentage! Lots of Native Americans in that area (Pueblo, Apache and Navajo majority).

My homie got a second home up in Vermont to be close to skiing. Him and his clique are hood niggas that made it, and now try to do everything "non-black" as possible. Stayed a week there one summer did everything, and nothing seemed out the usual for a rural area. One thing that stood out was Sirius XM reception is shaky.

Explain??
I used to work for a small startup MSP as a network admin and the data centers for one of the clients were moved from Massachusetts to Wyoming. So I had to go out there to help facilitate. Basically stand there and make sure everyone else did their jobs. The drive from Denver to Cheyenne was nice....everything else, not so much....just a whole bunch of nothing. I didnt see any other black people. I kinda need that..LOL
