...I'm still pretty amped, even though JJ fucked up what would have been THE great matchup. I like Cormier and Johnson, but I'm rolling with Johnson here. I can't see Cormier cutting down AND looking the same for it. To me, he didn't look the same against JJ, but part of that was for sure mental (he admitted as much, said he was too excited for that fight).

I've been pounding my head against the keyboard for the past few days tryna figure out my picks for this parlay I want to do via 5dimes. I'm already picking Johnson, Cerrone, and Dodson for sure. I really, REALLY want to pick Belfort, but I've never seen him fight live(a), (b) I dunno how he's gonna perform after they took ol boy off TRT, and (c) for as much as I hate Wideman, dude does what he does well. There's not really any money in picking Wideman, or NOT picking the fight in some capacity. I may bet Belfort anyway, for ALL The glory and big payday and say "Fuck It", though..

Was also thinking about picking Brown over Andrei, but there isn't much money in that if I add it to my parlay either..

Hope we can find some decent streams...

I think Cormier will dominate Johnson and will do better in his rematch against Jones. I still think Cormier is Jones biggest threat.

Weidman will dominate Belfort

Cromier realized he bit off more than he could chew when Bones just started picking him up and tossing him.Would love to see the Blackzilians walk away with both beltbelts.Really looking forward to seeing Weidman vs Belfort.

Cormier should win, but shit doesn't even feel right. Thank god they corrected shit by giving Jones the automatic title shot when he comes back.

The longer the fight goes the more trouble Johnson will be in. Johnson might have the bigger punch but IMO CORMIER is the better all around fighter..But if Johnson connects with one of those haymakers it could be an upset.

i Dont care who wins either fight. I will just enjoy a night of great fights.

I hear you.

Got Rumble and Weidman. Vitor is too mortal right now.

I feel the same way. But Im pretty sure Ima bet Vitor just cause the reward is so much higher than the risk with this parlay. Itll at least be fun rooting hard against Wideman, but I can see him getting that ground and pound going too, then :itsawrap:

This is gonna be a good card.
Too bad Khabib Nurmagomedov and Donald Cerrone fight not gonna happen.
Nurmagomedov injured his knee 3 weeks ago. :smh:

Also Uriah Hall will be fighting

Sounds like Vitor is still cheating at least little, but no one is talking about Weidman low levels... When Jon Jones had low level, everyone suspected he was doing something illegal :smh:

Now, onto the tests themselves. What stood out to me most was that Weidman's T:E ratio was 1:10 on two separate occasions, a month apart. A normal ratio is somewhere around 1:1, though 1:4 through 4:1 will occur in a small percentage of the population. To be completely clear, none of Weidman's other results suggest anything nefarious. This isn't a situation where his results are suspicious and suggest wrongdoing. They're just odd, and I'd hope he gets regular blood tests (which are much more accurate) to make sure nothing is amiss.

I think DC will use his wrestling to smother Rumble on the ground and stay away from catching any bombs on the feet. DC has KO power, but he's never faced anyone with the one-punch KO power of Rumble. He's a smart man. Jones out-grappled him, but Rumble's not a grappler. DC will resort to his bread and butter for a 5 round snoozer to an illegitimate title.

That's what I think will happen. What I hope happens is Rumble wins by TKO and gives the title some semblance of legitimacy, since Jones never beat him (even though he never beat Jones). Only if Rumble beats DC in more dramatic fashion than Jones can he claim some stake in the belt and increase the hype for Jones retaining his title from an opponent he hasn't beaten.

This is total bullshit. They should have suspended Jones for at least a year and make this an interim championship bout, then Jones fights the winner when he returns. Breaking Jones' streak/record was serves no real purpose but PR. They don't want to look soft on punishing incidents involving women. (Yet, they don't mind hyping up Ronda fighting a man, Mayweather.)

I wish I believed Vitor could actually beat Weidman. Because I would love to see Weidman get his ass beat. That's not what I think will happen, but I damn sure hope it does.

I hate that the give fighters credit for 'control time' on the ground if they don't actually do damage. Staying just busy enough to not get stood up is some boring bullshit to watch. :smh:

Uriah still needs to work on his jab
his striking gets lazy and he seems sometimes
to be uninterested in fighting

He needs a Grinder match like this to elevate
his fighting arsenal

:smh::smh:You might be right
Damn Uriah, he makes it more difficult than it is
for himself. He has no one to blame but himself.
He still hasn't improve on his hands/jabs/striking
he going for that one hitter quitter shit.

I knew it, this dude Hall is his own worse enemy..

Yup!

Yep, Hall can be mad, but that L was his own fault. All he had to do was be more aggressive and they would have given in that split decision. He did too much head hunting, got gassed and played it safe. At least that other dirty muthafucka was swinging for the fences to win.
