Think I watched more miniseries than ever lately, watched queen's Gambit, The Undoing, and the flight attendant.

Currently watching "A Teacher", Shameless s11, Power book 2, also watched the 1st 5 hrs of Big Sky but it went on break. Thinking about checking out Kings of Joburg, only South African content of that genre i've seen before was Gangster's Paradise Jerusalema which i loved

Good choices with your series.

Trackers is a South African crime thriller series produced by Scene 24, Three River Studios, Helle Media and Scribe Studios.[1] It is an adaptation of Deon Meyer's 2011 novel of the same name,[2] and it was adapted for television by Robert Thorogood, leading a team of South African writers.[1] It is the first co-production between South Africa pay-TV channel M-Net, HBO's sister network Cinemax and German public broadcaster ZDF.[3]

Before the last episode aired, M-Net announced that Trackers was already their best-performing show of 2019.[4]

On April 17, 2020, it was announced that the series will premiere in the U.S. on June 5, 2020 on Cinemax.[5]

I finally got around to watching the last season. And I thought it was alright. I liked how they tied up all the loose ends. But I really felt the show was kind of rushed.

I know how Disney kept fucking over agents of shield. So I gave the show a pass.

It sucks how the tv series was treated like shit. Hopefully the actors and actresses can still be implemented in the MCU.

Overall I think I'm at some point buy the series on blu ray. It had a slow start, by got better as time went on. If any one haven't seen this show. I would say watch it, but stick with it, if you find it being slow.

Hell the office had a slow start at one point. But turned into a main stream cult classic.

I remembered when u did but didnt get to it, so many shows nowadays even with covid postponing a ton of my regular shows. Shows i watched a couple eps of and haven't gotten back to them include Cursed, The Witcher, His Dark Materials and probably some more. Still thinking about maybe starting Industry as well

I hear you, man. There are so many good series these days. Everyone agrees it’s almost an embarassment of riches. So much content it’s tough to know which shows to check out, and in which order!

Finished The Flight Attendant. Thought the villain "Miranda" was great. Especially during the 2nd half of the season with her "fuck it" attitude. Also, the lawyer friend "Annie" was good - helped counterbalance the frantic nature of Cuoco's character.

Got 1 episode left on season 2 of Barry. Still enjoying it. They do a good job packing in the tension and suspense when required (especially for 30-minute episodes). Lol @ NoHo Hank with the comedic relief during all of his scenes.

"The fucking acordion player!"

:giggle:

How to with John Wilson

Quirky and fun series that asks the basic questions about life coupled with all kinds of odd and startling videos of every day life

ZeroZeroZero

Beyond suspenseful and unpredictable series about the Chaos ensues while a shipment of cocaine is smuggled from South America to Europe all coupled with stunning cinemaphotography

Glad you liked them too. Final episode of How To ... was poignant with the start of the pandemic and all of the unknown ahead.

Zerozerozero was great. Beautifully shot. Loved seeing the assortment of shooting locations.

So I just got through watching all 10 episodes. This is the first time I binged watched a 45+ minute tv show in a while. The first was Supernatural, when I first started watching it. A few years ago.

Anyways, all the episodes were on point. No filler what so ever. I liked how it ended. But I didn't like certain things that happened in the finale. But other than that I would recommend this show. If anybody hasn't tried it.

On season 2 of vampire diaries :hmm:
Not as sappy as twilight. Don't know if I can do all 8 seasons though.

I grabbed "Why the hell are you here, teacher". hilarious anime although a lil pervy.
The spinoff, The Originals was a bit more interesting to me. Vampire Diaries is what it is - pretty people with powers. Its basically made for high school girls to flick the bean to. It got interesting before it fizzled out in its last seasons. A few of the interesting characters went over to The Originals, which takes place in New Orleans, which means you get some color in the casting. It also expands on the lore a lot more and the storylines are heavier. The cast is also a bit older, so no school themes. Its mindless bullshit but has some bad ass chicks in the cast. Elijah shows up in season 2 ep08 of The Vampire Diaries. It gets interesting from there. I'd hang in TVD until the Elijah/Klauss storyline plays out and then switch over to The Originals. The last couple of seasons of TVD kinda sucked storywise.

Finished the 2nd season of Barry. Midway through the 2nd season of Peaky Blinders. All caught up with Your Honor. 3 episodes into Euphoria. Solid performance from
Zendaya. Good to see her playing a challenging, troubled role like that so effectively. Catching a few eps of Mexico Life and Hot Ones while multitasking. Easy eps to get through at just over 20 mins per.

Insecure: I really love this show. The characters are all black, relatable for the most part you can find a piece of yourself in many of the characters

It is silly, but there are a lot of real life kind of events that go on in the show. Where it differs from many of the shows we've seen from black actors, the entirety of the writing room is black. I like that. It's on HBO Max

Transformers war for Cybertron: only about three episodes in, I'm really liking the direction of the show so far. It's on Netflix

Isn't Emby a competitor to plex? I was thinking more of a app to keep track of my favorite movies and tv series.
Somewhat, it still tracks what you have watched. I use mine in conjunction with Kodi. Most of my content is stored locally on my server. Emby works on the phone, smart tv, xbox, computer, etc...

I just finished the Industry.. it was decent

Yeah - it's pretty good so far. I find having the captions/subtitles on helpful. Especially with some of the finance talk & slang & peoples' names (especially in early episodes when they aren't properly introduced). Definitely alot of unlikeable characters on the show.
