Charlize Theron is the executive producer, and it was filmed in a Kodak owned industrial park, in Rochester, New York.[1] The series follows tournament drivers from across the globe competing on one of the largest existing automotive courses.[2][3]

The full season of Hyperdrive consisting of 10 episodes was released on August 21, 2019.

28 international contestants drive around a race track and attempt to navigate specific obstacles and perform manouvers on a custom made "Hyperdrive" course. The first 4 episodes are qualifying rounds with the 3 fastest racers from each moving on to the knockout rounds. In the knockout rounds the contestant with the slowest time is eliminated and the next two slowest racers compete in a head to head race with the loser being eliminated. In the final round the top 6 competitors battle it out to be crowned the Hyperdrive champion.[4]

Agreed. Just in discussion with friends, family, the BGOL threads ... it's like walking down the cereal aisle at the grocery store. So many selections, and many of them are good. The past 20 years of TV have been legit, and especially now with the many platforms and ways to catch programming.

I'm finally starting to get caught up on some shows. I've been trying to watch.
With that being said, I finished season 2 yesterday night. And I think it was better than season 1. And season 1 was awesome. I was up here saying daaaaamn! Whenever a fight squence pop off. If someone by any chance isn't a fan of Castlevania. I would still recommend the show.

Agreed re: cancellations, etc. I've been really hesitant with the major networks over the years (seeing all the shows getting prematurely canned over time). Everything seemingly comes down to ratings & the ad dollars shows can generate for them. Whereas with the specialty cable networks ... they've been rewarded with more critical praise (and loyalty from fans) as they've allowed shows to build up steam. Shows that have started off slowly but gotten much better over time, and been allowed to tell a FULL story over the course of 4 - 9 seasons without fear of getting canned mid-season, or getting bounced around in the schedule (or dumped into a summer programming block and killed off when no one's watching - as major networks tend to do with shows they don't plan on keeping around). Props to Showtime, HBO, AMC, Showcase, Cinemax, FX, FXX, and so on. Keep up the quality programming and we'll keep watching & watercooler-discussing your content. At least we know you won't disrupt a show at the 1/4 or 1/2 point of a single season like ABC, FOX, NBC, and CBS often do.

I liked the show Jericho and they did bring it back but every episode you just knew it was just to quiet the fans and the substance wasn't there.

Taye Diggs show Daybreak where he was replaying the same day, was actually good to watch but I think it only had 13 episodes.

I liked this show Surface, but that was cancelled about 10 episodes in and they played the last few later on. Lake Bells big a@@ titties may of helped but it wasnt bad.

Rosewood with Morris Chestnut was a good show and they dropped that. Morris has had good shows but they just don't last for some reason.

Well said. It would be much appreciated by fans if they just made it CLEAR to everyone exactly what was happening. I.E. - when a show gets cancelled part way into a season ... let everyone know if/when you're gonna dispose of those final episodes, if indeed you're going to complete the remainder of an order. No matter what show it is ... there's always gonna be fans/followers of it, whether in large amounts or not. Like you said ... people have invested time into something, only to have the rug pulled out without any proper season/series finale or closure. Then in turn they're less likely to be willing to invest further into OTHER shows down the line given the sour taste that remains.
