The real ID program has been around since 2005 George W. Bush’s second term in office. People had over two decades to get a Real ID.

How do people not have REALID’s tho is my question. If they’re legal Americans that is. They started issuing them in like 2010. Colorado been issuing them shits since 2012. And I’m sure folks had to update their license at least once since 2010.

In Texas, if u need to renew your ID and u owe any type of traffic fine or toll fee....they will not let u get an ID until you pay it. Same goes for DL.

Funny story: if your passport doesn’t include your middle name, you can’t use it as identification to obtain a real ID because the names don’t match.
