The Equalizer 2 Confirmed By Sony

During 2015 CinemaCon, Sony Pictures confirmed plans for The Equalizer 2 during their presentation on upcoming films. Sony did not officially comment on The Equalizer 2, but the logo for the film flashed across the screen during their presentation.

In the first Equalizer movie, Denzel Washington starred as Robert McCall, a man of mysterious origin who believed he had put the past behind him and had dedicated himself to creating a quiet new life. However, when he met Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), a teenager who had been manhandled by violent Russian mobsters, he simply could not walk away. With his set of formidable skills, McCall came out of self-imposed retirement and emerged as an avenging angel, ready to take down anyone who brutalizes the helpless.

Given the success of The Equalizer at the box office, it had long been suspected that the film would get a sequel.

Mostly agree w you on Taken 3 but on the other hand TV series tend to be too watered down... plus its unlikely Denzel will be starring in the series so

But did John Wick really beat it? For me after a while killing 15 gunslingers was like nothing to John - absolutely no effort. Cool to look at sure but theres no feeling to it

Stop that. 3% is within the margin of error and Denzel trounced Keanu at the box office in a genre (action) that Keanu most definitely had an advantage over Denzel. (Remember 'The Matrix' series?) You're entitled to your personal opinion of each film, but let's not act as though John Wick was some cinematic masterpiece that The Equalizer wasn't. Denzel is known for drama, not action. So, of course HIS audiences are more likely to be put off by a change of pace than Keanu's audience who've come to expect shoot 'em up action from him.

I didn't see any of them but if he a white man, then YES he could go literally anywhere in the world in AFrica and somehow pull such a thing off why.............because white folks have done it countless times. It would be believable SADLY!

They BOTH scored a 7.2 although John Wick has a
