Mardi Gras is pretty intense though. I been twice, each time I had some epic memories. New Orleans has some the best food I have ever tasted. Brothas will cooking & selling oyster plates right outside their homes.

Brazil has poverty, but very few would describe it as third world. It’s not in the US sphere of influence, but it’s a pretty wealthy country. They have oil and manufacture everything their selves. There was a time when many BGOL brothers went to Rio on the regular for the fun.
I have to give them their full due respect, nobody's touching them for sheer scale. Those floats are amazing.
