im in the same, place trying to get gouken. How can you get your ultra meter up faster
what r the exact requirements for gouken? i heard its one perfect 2 ultra combo finishes and no rounds lost
I've only found that you either get hit or block every hit to build up the Ultra meter. Getting hit builds it up faster, but remember don't lose!

Here's what you need to do to get Gouken:
* You must have Akuma unlocked.
* You must have beaten Arcade Mode with Akuma.
* Beat Arcade Mode on any difficulty and with any settings, using any character.
* Must have at least 2 Pefect Rounds before defeating Seth.
* Must have performed at least 3 Ultra Combo Finishes before defeating Seth.
* Cannot lose any matches and use a continue.
* Defeat Gouken.
And Seth
* You must have Gouken unlocked.
* Beat Arcade Mode on any difficulty and with any settings, with all other characters.

Capcom loves doing this shit! I though Gill was a bastard for having the "Ressurection" super! This nigga Seth, lets you beat the dog shit out of him the first round. Then the nigga flips the switch on the whoop ass machine! Tossing double sonic booms, zoning with EX Dragon punches, taking jump attacks so that he can get off the EX Pile driver, and then gets close with the vacuum move so that he can hit you with that one kick that hits 10 times! Fucker!
Unlocked everyone, only person I had a problem from Seth with was Gen… Got dam!!! It took me dam near 50 tries to beat that nikka with Gen. Akuma is fun as fuck to play it right now, way more fun than Gouken and Seth IMO. Gotta get more time in with them. Really need my stick!!!

I've been with her since she debuted on Alpha 2. She was a cool character, just underpowered. Played with her on Alpha 3 and Rival Schools, but couldn't fuck with her on the Marvel vs. games (everybody was so pumped up on there Sakura couldn't hang). This is the strongest she has been in a game.
When all else fails put it on the easiest setting and one round. Keep doing the fierce hadouken that goes all the way across the screen and the hurricane kick. When you get them charged up do the EX version of those two. I breezed with her.
thanks man i have been at it since about 10:30 trying to get this mother fucker, wish someone would drop a game save i hate unlocking peope i just want to play, but i must say when i get gouken its going to be one of my most earned game achievments since getting a golden chocoboo in FF7I've only found that you either get hit or block every hit to build up the Ultra meter. For any BGOL playas thinking about that mad catz standard edition stick, I can confirm it is NOT WHAT IT DO!!!!! I picked up my game last night and then tonight I went in Gamestop and swooped up the standard stick. I told the manager about the problems people were reporting on them yesterday and that he was gonna have returns. Guess what, I stroll in and they have a returned one supposedly new and unused. I paid with my credit card, and told them that if that shit is fucking up like everyone else's it is coming back and I want my loot.
I got home, plugged it in, and played with it. The moves weren't super butter smooth and diagonal downs were kind of hit and miss and then it happened.......Ryu went to walking back on his own
I had a feeling it was gonna stick because I could visually see that the stick was not always returning to full center. That bitch is going back and I am getting my loot, not store credit or replacement cause I have already read online that madcatz doesn't even have replacements. If Gamestop tries to play games, i'll just do a chargeback

Yeah, I would advise that you DO NOT get it at least until they fix the issues or have the TE available. The SE one has a nice weight to it and is modifiable but out the box, the buttons are decent, but the stick itself is dookie
I saw the pictures of the washer problem, but some people claim their stick was ok. My gamestop only got like 3 sticks in for the 360 and 2 were pre-orders. The one I got was a returned pre-order. The stick just feels loose, and it definitely sticks at times. Not up to par for 79.99 in my opinion. I will either have to make my own, or get a hrap ex2. I would get a TE edition stick, but since they are not available, its a wrap. GS, better not try and play games with me returning it.....at any rate, I bought it from the GS on base, so chances of them playing games is significantly low.

I played with Able last night and I saw that shit too...right when you do that Ultra dude eyes turn another color maybe white or light blue I think...
I thought it was black? But yeah his eyes definitely turn a different color.
I still need to beat the game with him to get Fei Long but man it's hard as hell beating Seth with "close range" characters who don't have any projectile attacks. Ryu, Ken, Sagat, and Sakura I didn't have too many problems, but man it took me like an hour to beat Seth with C. Viper on medium and I couldn't even do it with Abel.
Has anyone tried one of the regular fight pads made by MadCatz? How are those?

The only thing that helps Abel in a fight with Seth is EX attacks.
play on easiest to get the characters IMO and just use the Fierce kick to beat seth.

I just got back from bestbuy in Jersey and they had like 5 collectors edition and like 7 regs left I wasn't in no hurry cause I got to be in the studio tonight so I was like fuck it let me see if they got it.
