Hey Genius so how is she suppose to write a summons for a violation if the kid doesn't have ID? Should she take his word for whatever name he gives her?

Do you not purchase goods on your credit card at retail stores? Do they not ask for ID? Or they don't have a right too ask? I mean you should be free to swipe your cc for goods without a ID right?

Second: she had every right to ask for his ID to issue him a summons as per city/state violation codes you cannot ride a bicycle on the sidewalk and impede pedestrian traffic..

Fourth: refusing to give your ID and pulling your hands away from being arrested is an automatic resisting arrest charge/obstruction(refusing to give ID) and disorderly conduct..

If its against the law to ride a bike on the sidewalk where pedestrians have to walk... I am all for THIS type of policing... My wifes Aunt was hit a few years ago while walking down the street in downtown Philly by a Dude illegally riding a bike on the sidewalk and ended up with a broken ankle... I have zero fucks to give about what this kid went through or what he may go through... Also, if he is committing a crime, she does have a right to ask him for ID...If he's riding a bike where he shouldn't be, then he is using the bike during the commission of a crime so...yeah, she has a right to harp on ID for a 'cat' who is breaking the law and using his bike to do it...
