Naw my gun instructor who is retired from training DC law enforcement for over 30 years and my other instructor who trains private security guards and worked for dc police for several years were simply saying don’t just be showboating having a gun or don’t pull it out unless it’s a life or death situation not no damn argument in a parking lot. In DC or MD even if you were defending yourself and had a CCL you can still be locked up. That’s why it was suggested to get gun insurance via USCCA. I can’t speak on the laws in TX, but in DC in this situation yeah you getting locked up and the dude that got shot family could file a civil case against you .

See here in DC area, the only time you can really pull your shit out is if someone runs up in your house and your in an area where you can’t escape. Even then if you kill someone in a life or death situation not a fucking argument in a parking lot you better be prepared to get sued by the family and you may still go to jail.

DC and MD are not gun friendly.

Niggas need to learn to walk away from bull shit. Like my instructor said, in a situation like that where you are strapped, have your CCL, and could blow someone brains away,because of all the bull shit you will have to deal with just walk away.

I don't know wtf bt means but I question peoples non-empathy for those with mental issues, not enough to hurt someone
but enough to feel the need to hold a baseball bat, if this individual advances should he be shot in the head or several times in
his legs and would the gun owner even think to make that choice?

We know the cops don't consider that choice and many people, families and communities suffer countless tragedies. My point
being we have fucking 5G technology, you mean to tell me we can't start gun training to shoot perfectly in the legs, to immobilize
someone without a firearm and plenty of space to use the dominance of the gun as a true justice equalizer and not an instant
death sentence.

I feel nra and police have scarred people so much that folks don't even think about non-lethal usage, and there is no real training
for it either, unless your upper echelon secret service or something.

If they have a gun and you don't see their hands then all bets are off, but if you got a gun and they have a razor, or bat or anything
but something that shoots, you should be able too defend yourself without lethal weapons fire even if you have to buss a few in their
